The posting
We're looking for one Staff Physical Therapist in Boulder and one in Longmont. You’ll provide outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine care, with autonomy over your treatment approach and a career path toward Clinic Director or management.
Every evaluation and follow-up is a 30-minute, one-on-one appointment delivered directly by a physical therapist, without PT aides. Expect approximately 15 patients during an eight-hour day that includes a 30-minute lunch, making comfort with this appointment pace important.
Responsibilities
- Build individualized treatment plans through one-on-one evaluations for general orthopedic and sports medicine patients.
- Help patients improve movement and function through care tailored to their needs and goals.
- Keep every appointment fully PT-led, delivering direct treatment without handing patients off to aides.
- Take ownership of your treatment approach while exchanging ideas and support with fellow physical therapists.
- Coordinate with front desk colleagues to keep patient scheduling organized and dependable.
- Manage your agreed weekday schedule and caseload while maintaining dedicated attention during each 30-minute visit.
Requirements
Must-Have:
- An active Colorado physical therapist license
- Physical therapy experience, or a strong related background, such as athletic training or massage therapy, for new graduates.
- Comfort making independent treatment decisions and organizing your work without close oversight.
- Readiness to provide one-on-one care within the clinic’s 30-minute appointment model.
- A collaborative, respectful approach to working with fellow therapists and front desk colleagues.
- Availability to work on-site in Boulder or Longmont on a full-time weekday schedule of at least 30 hours per week.
Nice to Have:
- One to two years of experience as a physical therapist.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics.
- Experience treating sports medicine patients.
No specialty certifications are required. New graduates with a strong related background are welcome to apply.
Benefits
- Stable salaried compensation: your pay does not decrease because a patient misses an appointment or cancels late.
- A 401(k) after one year, with a 3% employer match.
- Separate paid vacation and paid sick time.
- A continuing education/tuition benefit to support professional development.
- Flexible full-time weekday scheduling, starting at 30 hours per week, within clinic hours generally spanning 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Existing schedules include four 10-hour days and five eight-hour days; clinics are closed on weekends.
- A defined path from Staff Physical Therapist toward a Clinic Director or management role.
