The posting

At Garmin we create products that are designed indoors for outdoor activities. We do this to enable our customers to make the most of their time spent pursuing their passions.

We recognize the value of flexibility in supporting employee well-being, work-life balance, and effective collaboration. Associates may work from home up to four days per month, or one day per week, while remaining connected to the teams and culture that help us do our best work.

Our roles are primarily office-based because we believe the best ideas, innovation, and strongest professional relationships are built through in-person collaboration, making regular team interaction an important part of our culture and future success.

Garmin is a great place to work if you love developing products that make a difference and if you are passionate about technology.

Currently, in our Cluj office, we are looking for a Staff Systems Engineer to join one of our Automotive teams. Please discover more here.

  • Establishes system verification criteria that unify hardware validation, firmware testing, and software QA processes.
  • Applies systems engineering methodologies (e.g., FMEA, risk analysis, design-for-test, design-for-manufacturing) across hardware and software subsystems.
  • Contributes inventions, new designs, and techniques regarded as significant advances in engineering.
  • Provides mentorship and technical leadership to engineers across domains, fostering systems-level thinking and technical excellence.
  • Represents Garmin among industry partners, peer groups, and regulating agencies.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
