The posting

The Systems Engineer is responsible for defining the product's technical concept, developing the system architecture, and managing technical requirements throughout the entire product development lifecycle. This role ensures that customer needs are translated into clear, implementable, and verifiable system requirements, while ensuring that all product components—including mechanics, electronics, software, and testing solutions—operate as one integrated system. The Systems Engineer works closely with customers, engineering teams, project managers, and compliance specialists, driving technical decisions and managing technical risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer, business, and internal stakeholder requirements to define the optimal product or technical solution concept.
  • Develop and maintain the system architecture, including preparation and maintenance of technical design documentation (e.g., block diagrams, interface diagrams, and other architectural documentation).
  • Define and manage system requirements, ensuring their clarity, consistency, traceability, and feasibility throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate technical solutions across mechanical, electronics, software, testing, project management, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure technical solutions are aligned with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, certification, and operational requirements.
  • Organize and coordinate technical risk analysis activities (e.g., DFMEA) and ensure effective risk management throughout product development.
  • Manage changes to technical requirements, system architecture, and product configurations throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and external partners to evaluate and integrate third-party technical solutions.
  • Work closely with quality and compliance specialists to ensure product compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the engineering team in technical meetings with customers, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure the final technical solution meets functional, technical, quality, regulatory, and customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related engineering field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the development of electronic products or systems.
  • Experience in systems engineering, requirements management, or system architecture development.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems and make well-founded engineering decisions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and coordinating technical solutions across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Excellent communication skills when working with customers and international teams.
  • Experience with compliance requirements related to CE, RED, EMC, IEC, ISO, UL, or other applicable standards.
  • Good written and spoken English.

We will consider as a strong plus

  • Experience developing automotive or medical products.
  • Experience performing DFMEA or other system-level risk analyses.
  • Experience using requirements management tools such as Polarion, IBM DOORS, Jama, Codebeamer, or similar.
  • Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML.
  • Experience participating in product architecture development, design reviews, and technical decision-making processes.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive support for your physical and emotional well-being, including additional health insurance with psychologist consultations.
  • A strong team culture with team-building events, summer festivals, and shared celebrations.
  • Attractive bonuses through our employee referral program.
  • Recognition and rewards for long-term contribution.
  • A birthday day off, gifts, and pleasant surprises during holidays.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
