Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Tax Associate to join our growing tax team. The ideal candidate will support tax compliance and advisory assignments and contribute to the delivery of high-quality tax solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT, withholding tax, payroll tax, and annual income tax returns
  • Analyze financial accounts and apply relevant tax laws and regulations
  • Participate in preparing tax examination files and working papers
  • Conduct research on Egyptian and international tax laws, rulings, and updates
  • Support communication with clients and tax authorities under supervision
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines and documentation standards
  • Apply international standards in documentation, analysis, and tax reporting
  • Stay up to date with Egyptian tax law changes to mitigate compliance risks
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Tax Manager or direct supervisor
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and the firm's quality standards

Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in tax compliance and advisory (experience in a consultancy or audit firm is a plus)
  • Good knowledge of Egyptian tax laws and basic understanding of international taxation principles
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and tax/accounting software
  • Good communication and reporting skills in Arabic and English
  • Team player with a commitment to accuracy and continuous learning
