2. Dry-Docking & Capital Repairs

  • Draft detailed repair specifications and solicit competitive shipyard tenders.
  • Manage dry-dockings, major retrofits (e.g., BWTS, scrubber systems), and afloat repairs directly on-site.
  • Control repair costs, monitor project timelines, and negotiate final yard accounts.

3. Compliance, Audits & Safety

  • Ensure full compliance with Class, Flag State, IMO (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM/ISPS), and Port State Control (PSC) requirements.
  • Prepare vessels for and manage RightShip inspections, ensuring minimal risk findings and optimal vetting scores.
  • Investigate technical incidents, equipment failures, and near-misses; implement corrective action plans.

4. Financial & Supply Chain Control

  • Prepare, manage, and defend the annual technical operating expenditure (OPEX) budget for assigned vessels.
  • Review and approve requisitions for spare parts, stores, lube oils, and specialized service engineers.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
