Role Overview We are looking for a Trading Strategy & Business Performance Lead to help shape how our trading business performs and evolves across multiple brands. Sitting at the intersection of Trading, Risk, Data and Business, you will analyze trading performance and client behaviour, identify opportunities and emerging risks, and turn complex trading insights into actionable business strategies. This is a high-impact role with broad exposure across the trading ecosystem, working closely with Dealing, Quant, Risk, Anti-Fraud, Product, Data and Engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities - Analyze trading performance across brands, including revenue drivers, trading costs, client profitability, risk exposure and key trading metrics. - Deep dive into client trading behaviour, segmentation and trading patterns to identify high-value clients, emerging trends, unusual activities and business opportunities. - Translate trading, client and risk data into actionable insights and recommendations for business and management decision-making. - Partner with Dealing, Quant, Risk and Anti-Fraud teams to optimize trading and client management strategies while balancing commercial opportunities and risk. - Lead cross-functional initiatives to solve complex trading and business challenges and improve overall trading effectiveness. - Identify opportunities to improve trading processes, operating mechanisms and decision-making frameworks. - Work with Product, Data and Engineering teams to enhance Trading, Risk and Data capabilities based on evolving business needs.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline. - Relevant experience in Trading, Dealing, Trading Operations, Trading Risk, Brokerage or trading-related business management; strong high-potential candidates with fewer years of experience may also be considered. - Strong understanding of financial markets, trading products, trading mechanics and risk management; FX, CFD, derivatives or brokerage experience is highly preferred. - Strong analytical capability with experience analyzing client trading behaviour, trading performance, risk exposure and/or trading data. - Commercially minded, with the ability to connect trading insights with client and business outcomes. - Strong ownership and ability to drive complex initiatives across Trading, Risk, Product, Data and Technology teams. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in both English and Chinese to effectively engage regional Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
