Description du poste

Services SFT recherche activement un(e) Travailleur(euse) social(e) (TS) empathique et autonome pour combler un mandat temporaire à temps complet au CHSLD de Sept-Îles (Région Côte-Nord).

Ce mandat en hébergement de longue durée offre une occasion exceptionnelle d'apporter un soutien psychosocial essentiel aux résidents et à leurs proches, tout en profitant des conditions financières hautement avantageuses propres aux régions éloignées.

Détails du mandat :

  • Période : Du 19 octobre 2026 au 17 février 2027 (sans possibilité de prolongation)
  • Horaire : Quarts de JOUR
  • Fin de semaine : Au besoin, selon les nécessités de l'établissement
  • Orientation : Prévoir un bloc de 3 jours d'orientation en début de mandat

Responsabilités

Au sein du CHSLD, vous interviendrez pour soutenir l'équilibre psychosocial et le respect des droits des résidents en perte d'autonomie :

  • Évaluer le fonctionnement social et les besoins des résidents dès leur admission et tout au long de leur hébergement.
  • Accompagner les résidents et leurs familles dans l'adaptation au milieu de vie et traverser les étapes liées à la perte d'autonomie et aux deuils.
  • Intervenir dans les situations cliniques complexes, de vulnérabilité ou de crise (conflits familiaux, refus de soins, maltraitance).
  • Piloter ou collaborer activement aux processus légaux de protection (homologation de mandat de protection, ouverture de tutelles, évaluations d'inaptitude).
  • Collaborer étroitement avec l'équipe interdisciplinaire (infirmiers, PAB, médecins, ergothérapeutes) pour optimiser la qualité de vie des résidents.

Exigences

Pour soumettre votre dossier de candidature, vous devez fournir les documents démontrant les critères suivants :

  • Être membre en règle de l'OTSTCFQ (Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec).
  • Détenir un diplôme universitaire (Baccalauréat ou Maîtrise) en travail social.
  • Une expérience préalable en milieu d'hébergement (CHSLD) ou auprès d'une clientèle gériatrique est un atout important.
