We are looking for experienced Turbine Mechanics / Lead Turbine Mechanics with hands-on experience in gas turbine maintenance, overhaul, outage, dismantling, inspection, and reassembly activities.

The ideal candidates should have strong mechanical maintenance knowledge, experience working on turbine outages, and the ability to perform precision measurements, controlled bolting, hydraulic torqueing/tensioning, component inspection, and reassembly activities. For the Lead Turbine Mechanic position, candidates should also have proven experience leading turbine maintenance crews

We are looking for experienced Turbine Mechanics / Lead Turbine Mechanics with hands-on experience in gas turbine maintenance, overhaul, outage, dismantling, inspection, and reassembly activities.

The ideal candidates should have strong mechanical maintenance knowledge, experience working on turbine outages, and the ability to perform precision measurements, controlled bolting, hydraulic torqueing/tensioning, component inspection, and reassembly activities. For the Lead Turbine Mechanic position, candidates should also have proven experience leading turbine maintenance crews.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform dismantling, inspection, maintenance, component replacement, and reassembly of gas turbine components.
  • Remove, identify, protect, and reinstall turbine components within the assigned work scope.
  • Clean mating surfaces and turbine components prior to assembly.
  • Perform and record precision measurements, clearances, dimensions, and runout as required.
  • Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicators, feeler gauges, and calibrated torque tools.
  • Carry out controlled bolting and hydraulic torqueing/tensioning activities.
  • Assist with turbine alignment, bearing, and seal-related work.
  • Inspect components for visible wear, damage, or abnormalities and report findings.
  • Follow approved outage procedures, work scopes, tooling requirements, and replacement-part requirements.
  • Coordinate and work effectively with riggers, I&C technicians, welders, QA/QC personnel, and other maintenance teams.
  • Ensure all maintenance and assembly activities are carried out safely and in accordance with required quality standards.
  • For the Lead Turbine Mechanic role, allocate daily activities to mechanics and supervise turbine maintenance crews.
  • Lead dismantling and reassembly activities within the approved outage scope and ensure proper execution and quality of work.
  • For the Lead role, coordinate turbine maintenance activities under the direction of the OEM field advisor where applicable.

Requirements

Lead Turbine Mechanic

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant mechanical experience, including at least 3 years of experience leading turbine maintenance crews.
  • Proven experience leading gas turbine outages, dismantling, inspection, maintenance, and reassembly activities.
  • Relevant turbine model and outage experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic torque/tensioning tools and precision measuring instruments.
  • Proven ability to supervise mechanics and coordinate with multidisciplinary maintenance teams.
  • Strong understanding of turbine assembly quality, clearances, alignment, and controlled bolting.

Turbine Mechanic

  • Relevant hands-on experience in gas turbine maintenance and assembly.
  • Experience in turbine component removal, inspection, maintenance, replacement, and reinstallation.
  • Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments and calibrated torque tools.
  • Experience with controlled bolting, hydraulic tensioning, alignment, bearing, or seal-related activities is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively during turbine outages and maintenance shutdowns.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and following approved work procedures.
