The posting

[EN] Responsibilities:

  • Develop game UI, including reworking existing screens and elements and creating new ones, in accordance with the project’s visual style
  • Gather and clarify required project information when necessary
  • Create all the necessary UI graphics in a given visual style
  • Provide accurate time estimates and deliver results within agreed deadlines
  • Collaborating with UX Designers, producers and game designers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
  • Implement UI into the game, working closely with the Engineering and Tech Art teams

[PL] Zakres obowiązków:

  • Tworzenie interfejsu gry (UI), w tym modyfikowanie istniejących ekranów i elementów oraz projektowanie nowych, zgodnie ze stylem wizualnym projektu
  • Zbieranie i precyzowanie niezbędnych informacji projektowych w razie potrzeby
  • Tworzenie całej wymaganej grafiki UI w zadanym stylu wizualnym
  • Dostarczanie dokładnych szacunków czasowych (estymat) i realizacja zadań w ustalonych terminach
  • Współpraca z projektantami UX, producentami i projektantami gier w celu definiowania i wdrażania innowacyjnych rozwiązań w zakresie kierunku produktu, oprawy wizualnej oraz odczuć gracza
  • Implementacja UI do gry w ścisłej współpracy z zespołami programistów oraz artystów technicznych

Requirements

[EN]

  • Ability to work across various visual styles and create game UI aligned with a specified art direction
  • Understanding of AAA-quality standards for UI
  • Proficiency with UI design tools (Figma) and raster graphics software (Photoshop)
  • Understanding of cross-platform games UI/UX specific
  • Basic experience with game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity, etc.), including asset preparation, slicing, and implementation
  • Ability for cross-department communication. Describe UI needs to developers, managers etc.
  • English level - above Intermediate

Nice to have:

  • Ability to create and edit UI animations (After Effects; in-engine animation is a plus)
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in games UI
  • AAA games UI experience
  • Ability to create and present interactive prototypes in Figma
  • Understanding of a design system approach
  • Familiarity with the version control software.

  • Umiejętność pracy w różnych stylach wizualnych oraz tworzenia interfejsów gier (UI) zgodnych z określoną wizją artystyczną
  • Rozumienie standardów jakości klasy AAA w odniesieniu do interfejsów użytkownika
  • Biegła znajomość narzędzi do projektowania UI (Figma) oraz programów do grafiki rastrowej (Photoshop)
  • Zrozumienie specyfiki projektowania UI/UX dla gier wieloplatformowych
  • Podstawowe doświadczenie w pracy z silnikami gier (Unreal Engine, Unity itp.), w tym w przygotowywaniu zasobów (assetów), ich cięciu i implementacji
  • Umiejętność sprawnej komunikacji między zespołami – jasne opisywanie potrzeb związanych z UI programistom, menedżerom itp.
  • Znajomość języka angielskiego na poziomie powyżej średniozaawansowanego (B2+)

Mile widziane:

  • Umiejętność tworzenia i edycji animacji UI (After Effects; dodatkowym atutem będzie tworzenie animacji bezpośrednio w silniku gry)
  • Znajomość najnowszych trendów w projektowaniu UI gier
  • Doświadczenie w pracy nad interfejsami do gier klasy AAA
  • Umiejętność tworzenia i prezentowania interaktywnych prototypów w Figmie
  • Rozumienie podejścia opartego na systemach projektowych
  • Znajomość systemów kontroli wersji (np. Git, Perforce)
