The posting

Position: UK SALES EXECUTIVE – HOME ENERGY SOLUTIONS

Client Industry: Energy / Utilities / Energy Efficiency

Salary range: £800 base/month, approx. ZAR 17,000 base/month (The final amount will be at the the client discretion basing on the candidate’s skills and experience.)

Add on: Performance-based commission/bonus in addition to base salary

Working Hours: UK Business Hours

Work set-up: 100% Remote work under Independent Contractor Agreement

Holidays: to be confirmed

Recruitment process: possible multiple client interviews and an assessment

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle warm leads and existing database opportunities.
  • Generate new business through cold calling and outbound prospecting.
  • Build and manage your own sales pipeline.
  • Qualify prospects and understand their needs and property setup.
  • Present and explain the product and its benefits clearly.
  • Handle objections around pricing, savings, installation, and suitability.
  • Follow up consistently and close sales.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage opportunities through the CRM.
  • Meet agreed activity, conversion, and revenue targets.
  • Follow sales and compliance guidelines when discussing energy-saving claims.

SALES PROCESS: Prospecting → Qualification → Product Presentation → Objection Handling → Follow-Up → Closing

Important: This is a full-cycle sales role, not an appointment-setting-only position. You will be responsible for generating opportunities and converting them into closed sales.

Requirements

Requirements

  • 3+ years of phone-based sales experience.
  • Proven experience closing B2C sales.
  • Strong cold-calling and outbound prospecting experience.
  • Experience selling to UK customers.
  • Excellent spoken English and telephone communication skills.
  • Strong objection handling, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • CRM and sales pipeline management experience.
  • Target-driven and accountable for revenue results.
  • Able to explain technical products in a simple, customer-friendly way.
  • Reliable remote-working setup with computer, headset, and high-speed internet.

Preferred

Experience in energy, utilities, solar, renewables, home improvement, electrical/technical products, property, or other considered-purchase B2C sales is highly desirable.
