The role

You will be responsible for leading the brand’s visual merchandising function and ensuring that all stores deliver a consistent, inspiring, and commercially effective customer experience. As the key bridge between HQ and store teams, you will translate brand direction into impactful visual strategies and oversee their execution across all retail locations. Reporting directly to the Retail Manager, you will manage the full spectrum of VM activities—including concept development, store presentation, training, budgeting, and vendor management—while driving cross-functional initiatives that enhance brand expression, elevate visual standards, and maximise sales performance across the organisation.

You should have / be

  • Demonstrates exceptional professionalism, strong work ethic, judgement and keen attention to detail.
  • Possesses a strong commercial mindset with a results-driven approach - proactively identifying store-level opportunities, analysing customer behaviour and commercial insights, and recommending data-backed visual merchandising improvements.
  • A structured problem-solver who can identify underlying causes of complex visual or operational challenges, collaborate with stakeholders, and evaluate solutions for effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate strong communication with clarity and impact, tailoring messaging to diverse audiences—strong coaching skill set with store VM teams, influencing HQ stakeholders, and fostering strong relationships with customers and external partners.
  • An adaptable lead who can manage change, respond to evolving retail contexts, and guiding teams through shifting priorities and urgent VM requirements.
  • Strong multi-tasking and execution abilities, and an ability to think /work systematically, with impeccable judgment and discretion
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships independently, with a strong focus on cost-efficiency and contract negotiation to ensure optimal service delivery and value

Requirements

1. HQ Visual Merchandising Strategy & Capability Development

Commercial, Campaign Planning & Coordination

  • Drive and support VM innovation in processes, guidelines and initiatives: translating business needs and commercial objectives into practical VM solutions. Partner closely with HQVM and countrylead to identify opportunities, brainstorm new ideas, test and refine VM approaches, as well as develop scalable and trackable practices to enhance customer experience and drive commercial performance.
  • Partner with HQ stakeholders to plan and execute key brand campaigns, seasonal launches and collaboration activations (e.g. International Women's Day, special collections and brand partnerships).
  • Support campaign planning and coordination in all markets to ensure consistency in visual storytelling and customer experience.
  • Involve in Sales Campaign Planning Decks and campaign communication with HQ VM leadership.
  • Raise VM brief preparation and communication across all markets’s VM Lead to ensure timely alignment and execution.

Training & Capability Building

  • Develop weekly mannequin styling guidelines, ensuring alignment with product focus, seasonal storytelling and commercial priorities.
  • Create and update monthly New Arrival Product Training decks to strengthen product knowledge and styling confidence across markets.
  • Facilitate and conduct New Arrival Product Training sessions for Retail, VM and cross-functional teams.

Store Opening

  • Involved store opening planning, timelines and execution for new stores with HQVM leadership.
  • Support store opening set-up and execution across markets as required.

2. Singapore Visual Merchandising Excellence

Commercial Visual Merchandising

  • Lead the end-to-end visual merchandising strategy across Singapore stores, ensuring alignment with brand identity, customer profiles and commercial objectives.
  • Plan, customise and execute store layouts, mannequin styling, visual displays and seasonal campaigns according to each store's customer demographic, traffic profile and business priorities.
  • Provide recommendations and feedback on store layouts, visual presentation and merchandise zoning to optimise customer flow, product discovery and sell-through performance.
  • Review and customise mannequin planning to ensure relevance to each store's trading performance and customer profile.

Commercial Performance & Store Support

  • Partner closely with Store Managers and Retail leaders to identify opportunities to improve customer experience, conversion and product visibility through VM enhancements.
  • Analyse store performance, sales data and customer insights to recommend data-driven visual strategies.
  • Support key business periods, promotional campaigns, product launches and store events through effective VM planning and execution.
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess execution quality, identify opportunities and ensure consistent visual standards across all stores.

Store Opening & Activation Support

  • Lead visual planning, coordination and execution for all Singapore store openings, renovations and relocations.
  • Support visual set-up for market-specific events, activations and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Raise briefs and coordinate execution for local visual merchandising initiatives and market activations.

Training, Coaching & Talent Development

  • Conduct regular VM training sessions for VM team members, Retail leaders and identified store talents.
  • Facilitate weekly VM business reviews and coaching sessions with store teams to improve execution quality and commercial understanding.
  • Identify capability gaps and develop targeted coaching plans to improve styling, visual execution and commercial awareness.
  • Support appraisal discussions and talent reviews to strengthen succession planning and leadership development within the VM function.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with Retail, Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, Operations and Training teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Influence stakeholders through clear communication, commercial reasoning and practical recommendations that support both brand and business objectives.
  • Act as the key liaison between HQ and store teams, ensuring visual guidelines, priorities and updates are communicated clearly and executed effectively.
  • Drive alignment across functions by proactively identifying gaps, proposing solutions and following through on execution.

VM Operations, Budget & Vendor Management

  • Manage and monitor VM budgets across Singapore stores and assigned HQ projects, ensuring effective allocation and cost optimisation.
  • Own the end-to-end procurement process for VM assets, props, fixtures and materials, including vendor sourcing, quotation management, negotiation and delivery coordination.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships to ensure quality, speed and cost efficiency.
  • Manage VM operational trackers, reports and documentation to ensure visibility, consistency and data accuracy.
  • Monitor asset inventory and replenishment requirements to support store operations and campaign execution.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma/Degree in related studies
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in a similar capacity
  • 40 hour work week, based in store and HQ
