Vorstandsmitglied Finanzen und Reporting

Der Street Child Deutschland e.V. sucht eine engagierte Person mit Teamgeist als Mitglied des geschäftsführenden Vorstands mit Fokus auf Finanzen und Reporting. Street Child Deutschland ist Mitglied des seit 20 Jahren bestehenden, internationalen Street Child Netzwerkes. Street Child ist in der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit in über 20 der ärmsten und oft von Krisen betroffenen Ländern aktiv. Der Schutz und die Bildung von Kindern sowie die Sicherung des Lebensunterhaltes von Familien steht im Mittelpunkt unseres Wirkens.

Neben einer engen Zusammenarbeit mit den deutschen Vorstands- und Teamkollegen bietet dieses Ehrenamt auch die Möglichkeiten, unser europäisches Fundraising-Team in Barcelona und London zu unterstützen und mit den Vorstandsmitgliedern im globalen Street Child Netzwerk zusammenzuarbeiten.

Aufgabenbeschreibung

  • Den Verein in strategischen, finanziellen und strukturellen Belangen mit verantworten und weiterentwickeln
  • Die Organisation nach innen und außen vertreten
  • Als Mitglied des dreiköpfigen geschäftsführenden Vorstands die Leitung und Geschäftsführung des Vereins in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Country Manager Deutschland verantworten
  • Verantwortung Finanzverwaltung, Jahresabschluss sowie Dokumentation der Mittelverwendung
  • Koordination und Begleitung des jährlichen Audits durch eine externe Wirtschaftsprüfung.
  • Prüfung des monatlichen Finanzreporting
  • Überwachung der Einhaltung gesetzlicher, steuerlicher und satzungsmäßiger Vorgaben.
  • Teilnahme an acht Sitzungen des Gesamtvorstands pro Jahr und regelmaessige Treffen mit dem geschäftsführenden Vorstand (online Meetings)
  • Unterstützung beim Projektcontrolling und -reporting
  • Sparringspartner für das Team bei der Entwicklung neuer Projekte

Anforderungen

  • Identifikation mit den Werten und Zielen von Street Child, wie unter anderem starker Teamgeist, Verantwortungsbewusstsein und Transparenz
  • Zeitliche Verfügbarkeit von mindestens 10 Stunden pro Monat
  • Erfahrung in Finanzverwaltung, Jahresabschluss sowie Dokumentation der Mittelverwendung
  • Idealerweise Erfahrung in den Bereichen Fundraising und Organisationsentwicklung, Projektcontrolling und –management im Umfeld der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit, Nothilfe oder in einem vergleichbaren non-profit oder kommerziellen Bereich
