The posting

We are looking for an exceptional VP, Growth & Live Games to lead the next stage of growth for our portfolio of mobile games.

Our development model separates early-stage innovation from large-scale execution. Our 0-to-1 teams focus on building, experimenting, and validating new game concepts. Once a title demonstrates strong product KPIs, proven market potential, and the ability to scale profitably, it transitions into our dedicated 1-to-100 growth organization.

This is where you come in.

You will take ownership of validated mobile titles and transform them into successful, sustainable, large-scale businesses.

This is not simply a user acquisition or marketing leadership position. You will operate as the General Manager of our growth business unit, with end-to-end responsibility for commercial performance, product development, live operations, user acquisition, and the multidisciplinary teams required to scale and operate successful live games.

We are looking for a commercially driven leader who combines deep mobile gaming expertise, strong product instincts, analytical rigor, and the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.

Requirements

1. Business Unit Leadership & P&L Ownership

  • Own the commercial performance and strategic direction of mobile titles transitioning from validation into scale.
  • Take full accountability for revenue, profitability, growth, and long-term product performance.
  • Establish ambitious but sustainable growth plans, operating budgets, and financial targets.
  • Allocate capital and resources across titles based on commercial potential, scalability, and expected returns.
  • Build, structure, and lead a multidisciplinary business unit capable of operating multiple live titles at scale.
  • Establish clear accountability, performance management, and execution frameworks across all functions.

2. Growth Strategy & User Acquisition

  • Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies to scale proven titles into substantial revenue-generating businesses.
  • Own user acquisition strategy, budgets, creative performance, and channel diversification.
  • Drive profitable UA expansion through rigorous management of ROAS, LTV, CAC, retention, and payback periods.
  • Build scalable creative testing and performance marketing operations.
  • Identify opportunities to expand into new markets, audiences, and acquisition channels.
  • Balance aggressive growth objectives with sustainable unit economics and profitability.

3. Product Strategy & Live Operations

  • Own the ongoing product strategy and roadmap for all titles within the growth portfolio.
  • Lead live operations, including events, content updates, progression systems, economy balancing, and player engagement initiatives.
  • Continuously improve retention, engagement, monetization, and lifetime value through data-driven product optimization.
  • Drive experimentation across gameplay systems, monetization mechanics, offers, and player experiences.
  • Identify and prioritize product improvements that unlock additional growth potential.
  • Ensure games remain competitive, engaging, and commercially successful throughout their lifecycle.

4. Development & Operational Excellence

  • Oversee the development, engineering, QA, and maintenance functions supporting live titles.
  • Establish efficient release cycles, development roadmaps, and operational processes.
  • Balance new feature development with technical stability, performance, and maintenance requirements.
  • Ensure development resources are focused on initiatives with the greatest measurable business impact.
  • Build an organization capable of maintaining high operational standards while scaling multiple products simultaneously.

5. Data, Analytics & Commercial Optimization

  • Establish a comprehensive performance framework across acquisition, engagement, retention, monetization, and profitability.
  • Leverage cohort analysis, predictive LTV models, experimentation, and advanced analytics to guide investment decisions.
  • Identify growth constraints and work across functions to systematically remove them.
  • Develop reliable forecasting, performance reporting, and decision-making processes.
  • Build a culture where product and commercial decisions are grounded in measurable outcomes.

6. Team Building & Leadership

  • Recruit, develop, and lead exceptional talent across growth, UA, product management, live operations, analytics, and development.
  • Build a highly accountable, commercially focused culture that emphasizes ownership and execution.
  • Develop strong functional leaders capable of independently managing their teams and delivering against ambitious objectives.
  • Establish effective collaboration between the early-stage development organization and the growth business unit.
  • Create repeatable operating systems that enable the organization to scale additional titles efficiently.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Significant senior leadership experience within the mobile gaming industry, ideally in free-to-play, casual, or hybrid-casual games.
  • Demonstrated success scaling mobile games from early commercial validation to meaningful revenue and profitability.
  • Proven experience owning or materially influencing the P&L of successful live mobile games.
  • Deep understanding of mobile gaming economics, including user acquisition, ROAS, LTV, retention, engagement, and monetization.
  • Strong experience managing cross-functional teams spanning product, marketing, development, analytics, and live operations.
  • A track record of successfully scaling user acquisition investment while maintaining disciplined financial performance.
  • Strong understanding of free-to-play game systems, player behavior, game economies, and live operations.
  • Experience building organizations, establishing processes, and managing senior functional leaders.

Leadership & Personal Attributes

  • Commercially minded: Thinks like a business owner, not simply a functional leader.
  • Highly analytical: Comfortable making significant investment and product decisions using data, forecasting, and experimentation.
  • Product-oriented: Understands what makes mobile games successful and how to improve their long-term performance.
  • Execution-focused: Able to translate strategy into measurable outcomes through effective teams and operating systems.
  • Entrepreneurial: Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with substantial autonomy and accountability.
  • Strategic but hands-on: Capable of setting long-term direction while remaining close enough to the business to identify opportunities and solve problems.

What Success Looks Like

Your success will be measured by your ability to build a repeatable, profitable growth engine for our mobile game portfolio.

Key outcomes include:

  • Revenue & Profitability: Sustained growth in revenue, contribution margin, and overall business unit profitability.
  • Profitable Scaling: Significant increases in UA investment and player acquisition while maintaining attractive unit economics.
  • Product Performance: Measurable improvements in retention, LTV, monetization, and long-term player engagement.
  • Operational Excellence: Reliable live operations, efficient development execution, and high-quality product maintenance.
  • Portfolio Growth: Successfully transitioning validated titles into scalable, commercially successful live businesses.
  • Organizational Leadership: Building an exceptional team capable of independently operating and scaling multiple games.

You will work with titles that have already demonstrated promising product-market fit and commercial potential, allowing you to focus on what you do best: turning successful early-stage games into major businesses.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
