The posting

Rockstar is recruiting for a global brand that provides essential business support services. The client is a dynamic, fast-growing company focused on delivering high-quality solutions through a remote-first, outcome-driven culture. They are seeking a skilled professional to join their team and help shape their digital foundation.

In this pivotal role, the Website Manager will shape the digital foundation of a fast-growing global brand. As the Website Manager, the individual will own the day-to-day operations, governance, and performance of the HubSpot-hosted website. By partnering with senior leaders, design teams, and external agencies, the successful candidate will ensure the website remains a high-performing, conversion-ready platform that reflects the brand.

About the Role

The client is seeking a Website Manager to own the end-to-end operation of the website, ensuring updates are executed efficiently, quality standards are upheld, and the site remains accurate, scalable, and conversion-ready. This role acts as the central point of coordination across content, design, development, SEO, growth, analytics, and QA.

This is not a design or development role. It is an operational leadership role focused on execution, governance, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Website Operations & Governance

- Own the full website maintenance lifecycle, from request intake through deployment

- Manage prioritization, SLAs, and scheduling for website updates (urgent vs. routine vs. strategic)

- Enforce website governance standards, including templates, modules, permissions, and publishing rules

- Serve as the primary point of contact for all website-related requests across Marketing, Sales, and Leadership

- Manage user access, permissions, and CMS training

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Coordinate work across Content, Design, Development, SEO, Growth/CRO, Analytics, and QA

- Ensure clear handoffs, timelines, and accountability at each stage of execution

- Identify and resolve blockers, dependencies, and resourcing issues

- Facilitate alignment between stakeholders on scope, priority, timing, and expectations

Release Management & QA Oversight

- Oversee staging, QA, and production releases

- Support CRO initiatives including A/B testing, personalization, and experiment QA

- Ensure all changes pass required checks:

- Content QA

- Visual QA

- Technical QA

- Accessibility compliance

- Own post-publish validation and coordinate rollbacks or hotfixes when needed

- Maintain a consistent release cadence and deployment process

CMS & Technical Stewardship (HubSpot)

- Maintain a clean, scalable HubSpot CMS environment, including:

- Page templates

- Modules

- HubDB usage

- Permissions and publishing workflows

- Ensure technical best practices are followed for performance, responsiveness, and maintainability

- Partner with the cybersecurity team to ensure website security, compliance (cookie consent, GDPR), and access hygiene

- Partner with developers on upgrades, fixes, and CMS improvements

Content & Asset Updates

- Implement content and copy updates in partnership with the Content team and subject matter experts

- Coordinate visual asset updates with the Design team

- Monitor pages for outdated content or messaging and trigger refresh cycles as needed

- Maintain long-term website architecture and scalability across services and verticals

SEO Oversight

- Oversee the implementation of SEO updates, with support from an external agency

- Partner with the SEO Specialist and web developer on audits and recommendations

- Ensure site updates do not negatively impact organic search performance

Vendor Management

- Serve as the primary point of contact for website-related vendors, including external SEO and CRO agencies

- Coordinate vendor requests by routing action items to the appropriate internal teams and owners

- Ensure alignment on scope, priorities, and timelines, and track vendor-driven work through completion

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

- Maintain website documentation, including:

- Website changelog

- SOPs for updates and QA

- Page inventory and ownership

- Lead retrospectives on major launches or incidents

- Continuously improve workflows, tools, and standards to increase speed and reliability

Required Qualifications

- 3–5+ years of experience managing websites in a marketing or growth environment

- Hands-on experience with HubSpot CMS (or comparable CMS platforms)

- Strong understanding of:

- Website governance and QA processes

- Cross-functional project coordination

- SEO and CRO fundamentals

- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent requests and priorities

- Experience coordinating with distributed or remote teams

- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Work Conditions

Location: Remote (South Africa, India, or Philippines), with availability for U.S. Pacific Standard Time collaboration as needed

Employment: Full-time role with competitive salary and benefits

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
