Join the Velocity Flow Technologies Team! (Weekend Shift) Friday–Sunday | 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Vortex Global, a Velocity Flow Technologies manufacturing brand, is looking for two detail-oriented CNC Technicians to join their Weekend Shift team. In these hands-on roles, you'll play a crucial part of a face paced environment with operating numerically controlled machines to fabricate parts, assist with running a Press-Brake and a Water-Jet. You may also shear, saw, drill and assemble product components per engineering specification.
Additionally, we are looking for practiced MIG or TIG Welder.

Key Responsibilities:
- Performing assigned product prepping and finishing tasks.
- Prepping and adding finishing touches to the appearance of product components.
- Conducting quality checks and ensuring the finish of parts and components is of the highest standard.
- Optimizing production efficiency by the upkeeping and or maintenance of equipment, tooling, and work area.
- Collaborating with other departments to complete production orders on time.
- Operating and monitoring computerized controls to ensure that machines are performing task correctly.
- Reading blueprints or other instructions to determine out put goals are met.
- Complying with internal policies and industry regulations.
This position requires working 36 hours regularly from Friday through Sunday from 5:00 am - 5:00 pm with the possibility of overtime if required.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma required
- Technical training and/or work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to lift at least 550 lbs independently if required
- Mechanical aptitude preferred
- Skilled in the use of multiple hand tools
- Proficiency in reading tape measures

Drug and Alcohol Policy

Benefits Waiting Period
If employed, I understand that eligibility for certain benefits may be subject to a thirty to sixty (30-60) day waiting period, and that the at-will employment relationship remains in effect during and after this period.
