The posting

We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong welding and fabrication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to accurately fit and assemble metal components before welding.

This is a hands-on position for someone who can read blueprints, take accurate measurements, and produce quality welds.

Shift: 2nd Shift

Pay: $26 - $30 an hour plus 15% differential

Requirements

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
  • Fit, align, tack, and weld metal components and assemblies
  • Perform MIG welding on various metal components
  • Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures and other measuring tools
  • Use hand and power tools to prepare and finish components
  • Grind, clean, and prepare welds as needed
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check
