WHO WE ARE

Mojo Supermarket is a fully integrated agency built on the creative philosophy "Break your Brain Good." We create work that rewires the way people think and helps brands solve their biggest business challenges. By combining strategic thinking with bold creative, we deliver ideas that generate outsized business results for clients including TikTok, Burger King, Chase, DoorDash, Ruggable, and more.

THE ROLE

Mojo is looking for a highly organized, hands-on Workplace Experience & IT Manager to own the day-to-day operations and experience of our New York office, manage our in-office events and hospitality, and serve as the internal owner of our technology operations.

This is the person who knows how things work and makes sure they keep working. You notice what needs to be done, take ownership without waiting to be asked, and follow it through. On any given day, you might move from dealing with a building issue, to getting a new employee's laptop provisioned, to setting up a company happy hour, to holding an IT vendor accountable for an unresolved ticket, to noticing that a conference room isn't functioning properly and getting it fixed before anyone has to ask.

You do not need to be an IT engineer. Mojo partners with a managed IT service provider for technical support and expertise. You will own that relationship internally: coordinating requests, managing equipment and access, tracking issues through resolution, maintaining documentation and inventory, and ensuring our external partners are delivering what the business needs.

This is a highly hands-on role, but we're looking for someone who does more than complete tasks. You create systems, improve processes, anticipate what's coming, and make the operation better over time. The goal is simple: the office is well run, employees and guests have a great experience, events are thoughtfully executed, technology issues have a clear path to resolution, and the operational details that keep the workplace functioning do not fall through the cracks.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Workplace & Facilities

  • Own the day-to-day operation of Mojo's New York office
  • Ensure the office is organized, stocked, functional, welcoming, and ready for employees and guests
  • Manage relationships with the building, cleaning team, maintenance providers, security, and other workplace vendors
  • Own the physical workplace end-to-end, including facilities, repairs, access, conference rooms and AV, seating, supplies, food and beverage, mail, deliveries, and day-to-day office readiness.
  • Maintain appropriate workplace safety, emergency, and operational procedures
  • Identify workplace issues before they become larger problems and drive them through resolution

Workplace Experience, Events & Hospitality

  • Own the planning and execution of Mojo's recurring in-office programming, including weekly happy hours, employee gatherings, and other moments that bring the office to life
  • Lead the operational execution of Mojo-sponsored events, company meetings, celebrations, and client gatherings, including vendors, catering, food and beverage, AV, setup, breakdown, and run-of-show
  • Create a thoughtful hospitality experience for employees, candidates, clients, partners, and guests, anticipating needs and sweating the details that make people feel welcomed and cared for
  • Partner with People & Culture and other teams on programming objectives while independently owning the calendar, logistics, vendors, budgets, and execution
  • Build strong hospitality and event vendor relationships, continuously improve the in-office experience, and support occasional events outside standard office hours

IT Operations & Vendor Management

  • Serve as Mojo's primary internal owner of our managed IT provider and other technology vendors, holding partners accountable for service levels and driving issues through resolution
  • Own the employee technology lifecycle, including equipment purchasing, provisioning, replacement, repair, recovery, and accurate asset inventory
  • Coordinate employee account creation, access changes, and deactivation with the appropriate partners
  • Oversee core workplace technology including internet, Wi-Fi, printers, conference-room AV, telecommunications, and related systems
  • Maintain clear documentation of systems, vendors, contracts, licenses, renewals, costs, processes, and escalation paths
  • Partner with leadership and external providers on security, compliance, device management, and other IT initiatives, translating business needs into clear requests without needing to personally solve advanced technical issues
  • Maintain visibility into workplace, event, and technology spend, reviewing invoices, tracking renewals, and identifying opportunities to improve service or reduce unnecessary costs

Onboarding & Offboarding Operations

  • Own the workplace and technology components of onboarding, ensuring every new hire has their equipment, system access, building access, and workspace ready before day one
  • Partner closely with People & Culture on upcoming hires and departures, maintaining simple, repeatable onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Manage equipment collection, access removal, and asset tracking during offboarding so every employee's first and last day runs smoothly

Requirements

WHO YOU ARE

  • An experienced workplace, office operations, facilities, hospitality, events, or business operations professional
  • A natural owner who notices what needs to be done, takes initiative, and follows things through without requiring day-to-day direction
  • Exceptionally organized and able to balance planned priorities with the unexpected needs of a busy workplace
  • A genuine hospitality mindset: you anticipate needs, sweat the details, and care deeply about how employees and guests experience the space
  • Experienced in planning and executing employee events, office programming, or hospitality
  • Comfortable managing external IT providers and technology vendors, with enough technical fluency to understand an issue, communicate it clearly, and make sure the right person solves it
  • Strong at managing vendors, timelines, details, and budgets, and calm and resourceful when something unexpected happens
  • Clear, confident, discreet, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in an agency, creative company, startup, hospitality environment, or similarly fast-moving organization
  • Experience managing an MSP or outsourced IT partner and familiarity with Google Workspace, SaaS administration, or device management
  • Experience producing internal events, client gatherings, or branded experiences
  • Experience supporting workplace projects, office moves, buildouts, security, or compliance initiatives

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • The office runs smoothly without requiring constant intervention from leadership
  • Employees, candidates, clients, and guests experience the office as thoughtful, welcoming, and distinctly Mojo
  • Weekly programming and larger Mojo events are consistently well planned and executed
  • New hires arrive to a fully prepared workplace and technology experience, while offboarding is handled consistently and securely
  • IT issues have clear ownership, workplace technology reliably works, and external partners are proactively managed and held accountable
  • Mojo has accurate visibility into its hardware, systems, vendors, contracts, renewals, and operational spend
  • Problems are anticipated before they become distractions, and this role consistently brings forward solutions and recommendations rather than requiring day-to-day direction

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • 401(k) with up to a 4% company match
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Flexible paid time off
  • Paid parental leave
  • Culture & wellness Stipend
  • Five-week paid sabbatical for employees with five years of service
  • Twice monthly team meals
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
