Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and strategic Digital Engineering Solutions Architect- HR Systems (Oracle, UKG and ServiceNow) to lead the design, integration, and evolution of next-generation digital platforms. In this role, you’ll drive technical vision, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and architect scalable solutions using modern frameworks, GraphQL, microservices, and cloud-native technologies. You’ll play a key role in ARB (Architecture Review Board) governance, guide agile teams, and work closely with application and product teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences powered by AI and third-party integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing microservices-based architectures for HR Systems (Oracle, UKG and ServiceNow) .
  • Architect solutions leveraging GraphQL APIs for optimized data access and flexible integrations.
  • Provide technical oversight to multiple agile engineering pods, ensuring consistent delivery standards.
  • Partner with Product, Design, and Application teams to co-create seamless, user-first digital experiences.
  • Lead integration with third-party solutions and APIs, ensuring security and performance best practices. Technical oversight of integration with key enterprise systems, including CRM platforms, pricing engines, payment gateways, and external services
  • Participate in and contribute to ARB governance, presenting architectural decisions and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
  • Drive adoption of DevOps, SRE, and CI/CD best practices.
  • Evaluate and implement AI-powered features in collaboration with data and innovation teams.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards by implementing necessary controls and protocols.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • 10+ years in digital engineering, software architecture, and solution design with HR Systems (Oracle, UKG and ServiceNow).
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing microservices architectures.
  • Hands-on experience working with GraphQL and integrating APIs and third-party platforms.
  • Strong collaboration skills, especially in partnering with application teams to ensure aligned, cohesive digital solutions.
  • Experience contributing to and guiding ARB governance decisions.
  • Knowledge of modern agile practices, DevOps tooling, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent technical leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects and driving innovation within an organization.

  • Frontend: React, JavaScript
  • Backend & APIs: Microservices, REST, GraphQL
  • CMS: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or any enterprise CMS
  • Search & Messaging: SOLR, Twilio
  • Authentication & Security: Auth0
  • Tools & Workflow: GitHub, JIRA
  • Architecture Practices: API-first design, Scalable System Design, ARB Governance
  • Cloud & AI: Experience with AI/ML integration, cloud platforms (Azure)
