About Us

At Booking.com, data drives our decisions. Technology is at our core. And innovation is everywhere. But our company is more than datasets, lines of code or A/B tests. We're the thrill of the first night in a new place. The excitement of the next morning. The friends you encounter. The journeys you take. The sights you see. And the memories you make. Through our products, partners and people, we make it easier for everyone to experience the world.

Role Description

As a Program Manager within the Chief Business Officer (CBO) Office, you will play a pivotal role in enabling Booking.com to achieve its strategic and operational goals. Reporting directly to the Director, CBO Program Management, you will lead the growth, engagement, and alignment of a 500+ person craft encompassing Strategy, Business Operations, Program Management, and Change Management (SBOPC). In this highly visible role, you will champion the adoption of cutting-edge AI solutions, drive standardized ways of working, and build an inspiring community across our global organization. If you are an outcome-focused leader passionate about raising the bar and connecting people with technology, this journey is for you.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Craft & Community Leadership: Lead the annual SBOPC craft plan and own end-to-end community engagement, including communications, events (All Hands, Summits), and managing volunteer networks.
  • AI Solution Adoption: Own the AI roadmap for the SBOPC craft by scoping, developing, deploying, and driving broad adoption of scalable AI workflows in collaboration with tech teams.
  • Program Standards: Drive broad organizational adoption and continuous improvement of the Booking Program Standards, embedding them as the default in AI solutions.
  • Technical & Business Liaison: Act as the strategic liaison between the CBO Office PMO and Tech Standards teams to ensure business requirements are integrated into Jira usage.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Manage relationships with external partners (e.g., PMI) and internal Craft Managers to share best practices and drive organizational alignment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven Track Record: Extensive experience executing complex strategy-to-execution plans and managing large communities (500+ employees) within a large-scale, international environment (5K+ employees).
  • AI & Technical Expertise: Conceptual and hands-on experience designing and deploying AI solutions using LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Glean), combined with strong working knowledge of the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence).
  • Event & Communication Mastery: Exceptional written/spoken communication skills with a proven background in owning end-to-end events for 100+ attendees and managing multi-channel communications.
  • Process & Program Management: Deep expertise in developing, embedding, and continuously improving standardized ways of working and role-specific L&D plans across multi-departmental organizations.
  • Senior Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to influence, advise, and collaborate effectively with executive-level stakeholders (Director level and above).
  • Mindset & Approach: Highly proactive, pragmatic, customer-centric, and accountable leader who thrives in ambiguous environments and continuously raises the bar.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
