How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Leads the preparation of the business unit’s annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning by partnering with key business stakeholders and documenting key assumptions.
  • Prepares and analyzes monthly and quarterly results versus budget, forecast, and prior year; identifies the drivers of variances and communicates findings and recommended actions to finance leadership and business partners.
  • Works in partnership with Accounting throughout the monthly close to review, reconcile, and validate results so that monthly financial statements are accurate, and resolves discrepancies before results are reported.
  • Develops presentation materials and executive commentary for monthly management meetings, quarterly review meetings, and annual plan reviews with business leaders.
  • Partners with business unit leaders, Accounting, and other functions to understand business performance, evaluate trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide insight that supports operational and strategic decisions.

  • Drives process improvement and automation of recurring reporting and forecasting activities using Excel, Power BI, and other financial systems.
  • Supports corporate reporting requests and special projects as assigned.
  • Serves as the primary on-site finance leadership to support division President and other key stakeholders (leadership team, program leads, functional cost center owners, accounting), including mentoring & developmental leadership opportunities over on-site finance personnel.

Skills for Success:

  • 2-4 years of progressive experience in an Accounting or Finance-related function, preferably with prior FP&A experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another quantitative, analytical, or technical discipline; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, lookup functions, and data analysis
  • Power BI experience is a plus, including data visualization and a working understanding of data architecture and modeling

  • Self-discipline to meet internal and corporate schedules and deadlines
  • Effective communication skills (written, presentation, oral), including the ability to explain financial results and recommendations to non-finance audiences
  • Based in Greenville, SC & willingness to travel to Nashville, TN (corporate HQ) on a recurring basis (quarterly)

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
