The posting

Analyst, Strategic Intelligence and Foresight (Two years fixed term contract)

Why we are recruiting-

The World Economic Forum is strengthening its intelligence and foresight capabilities to help leaders anticipate disruption, interpret emerging signals and translate expert insight into practical strategy, leadership, and governance solutions with the Global Strategic Intelligence Programme. We are seeking an Analyst to support the research, analysis, synthesis and AI-enabled knowledge curation that will underpin the programme-s deliverables.

The role-

The Analyst, Global Strategic Intelligence and Foresight Programme will contribute to the aggregation, synthesis, and interpretation of insights generated through the Programme and related Forum activities. Working closely with Strategic Intelligence, foresight and technology teams, the Specialist will help identify signals, trends, risks and opportunities; structure expert inputs into clear analytical outputs; and apply data and AI-enabled tools to support insight generation and dissemination. The role sits at the intersection of research, strategic intelligence, foresight and applied AI, with a focus on producing high-quality outputs that strengthen anticipatory leadership and governance capabilities among the Forum-s partners and constituents.

Key responsibilities-

* Aggregate, structure and synthesize insights from experts, workshops, strategic intelligence sprints, research inputs and other programme activities.

* Identify emerging signals, trends, risks, opportunities and cross-cutting themes relevant to anticipatory governance, strategic intelligence and foresight.

* Apply AI-enabled research, clustering, synthesis and drafting tools towards the development of briefs, frameworks, toolkits, blueprints and other applied intelligence products and support the development of relevant agents that could enable the process.

* Contribute to the production of insight products such as strategic insight briefs, policy action notes, masterclass materials, case studies, and other structured programme outputs.

* Collaborate with teams across the World Economic Forum-s Centres to integrate relevant knowledge, expert inputs and platform capabilities into Programme deliverables. *

Preferred requirements and experience-

* 2-3 years of relevant experience in research, analysis, consulting, public policy, foresight, international affairs, innovation or a related field.

* Strong analytical judgement and the ability to synthesize complex, multidisciplinary information into clear insights and practical outputs.

* Familiarity with developments in agentic AI and AI-enabled research, knowledge management, horizon scanning or synthesis tools, or a strong interest in applying these methods to strategic intelligence work.

* Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to draft concise, structured and audience-ready materials.

* Demonstrated interest in global issues, emerging technologies, strategic intelligence, foresight and the role of multistakeholder collaboration in addressing complex challenges.

Why this role matters-

This role will strengthen the analytical backbone of the Global Strategic Intelligence Programme by helping turn expert knowledge, signals and foresight inputs into actionable intelligence. It will support the Forum-s ability to deliver high-quality, AI-enabled insight products at scale and contribute to new models of anticipatory leadership, strategic decision-making and global cooperation.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
