Make an Impact as a Program Clinical Data Manager at Worldwide

Bring your clinical data management expertise to complex global projects and programs where strong leadership, technical excellence, and reliable delivery matter. As a Program Clinical Data Manager, you’ll independently lead data management activities from study start-up through conduct and close-out, helping ensure high-quality delivery that meets sponsor expectations.

You’ll provide oversight across timelines, resources, budgets, risks, data cleaning, vendor reconciliation, and database lock activities while partnering with cross-functional teams and sponsors. You’ll also serve as a subject matter expert, helping strengthen data management processes, training, and quality across the department.

Beyond individual projects, you’ll have the opportunity to mentor colleagues, co-lead process improvement initiatives, support proposals and sponsor presentations, and contribute your expertise during audits and regulatory inspections.

Where You'll Work

This is a remote role open to candidates based in the US. You will collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.

What You'll Do

  • Lead data management activities independently across multiple complex global projects and programs, from study start-up through conduct and close-out.
  • Develop and oversee key trial documentation, including Data Management Plans, database specifications, edit check specifications, CCGs, and Data Transfer Agreements.
  • Drive effective UAT, data cleaning, external vendor reconciliation, progress metrics, and timely database lock activities.
  • Manage data management resources, timelines, scope, budgets, and risks, escalating concerns appropriately and keeping leadership informed of project progress.
  • Represent Data Management in internal and external study meetings, collaborating with sponsors and cross-functional teams to support effective project delivery.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned data management processes, providing guidance and training while driving quality issue resolution, root cause analysis, CAPAs, and guidance-document updates.
  • Mentor Data Management colleagues and co-lead departmental initiatives that improve processes, quality, and efficiency.
  • Support business development through sponsor proposals and presentations, and contribute data management expertise during sponsor audits, regulatory authority inspections, and other third-party meetings.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in biomedical sciences, life sciences, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in clinical data management or a related role within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries.
  • Expert knowledge of clinical data management best practices and technologies as applied to clinical trials.
  • Advanced understanding of the clinical trial process and key study documents, including protocols, statistical analysis plans, CRFs, and study reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently oversee complex projects, solve problems, analyze issues, and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and cross-functional communication skills for working effectively with internal teams, external partners, and sponsors.
  • Proficiency in English.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
