You’ll apply your technical expertise and independent judgment to help ensure high-quality data is delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time.

In this senior role, you’ll partner with sponsors and cross-functional teams while overseeing data cleaning, database lock activities, resources, budgets, timelines, and project risks. This is a remote role open to candidates based in US. You will collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end data management activities across multiple complex global projects and programs, from start-up through database lock and closeout.
  • Develop key data management documentation, including Data Management Plans, database specifications, edit check specifications, CCGs, and Data Transfer Agreements.
  • Oversee UAT, data cleaning, external vendor reconciliation specifications, and database lock activities to support accurate and timely study delivery.
  • Allocate resources and monitor project scope, budgets, timelines, risks, and performance metrics, escalating concerns when appropriate.
  • Represent Data Management in internal, sponsor, and study meetings, providing technical expertise and clear input on project progress and issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Data Management leadership to resolve challenges and keep study activities moving forward.
  • Lead and contribute to process reviews and improvements that strengthen data management practices.
  • Train, support, and mentor other Data Management team members, sharing expertise and best practices.
  • Participate in sponsor audits, regulatory authority inspections, and other third-party meetings as needed.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in biomedical sciences, life sciences, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience, plus a minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical data management or a related role within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical data management best practices and technologies used in clinical trials.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and key study documents, including protocols, statistical analysis plans, CRFs, and study reports.
  • Proven ability to independently oversee projects, manage priorities, and solve complex problems with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in English.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
