General Manager - Finance and Accounts

## Job Summary The General Manager for Finance and Accounts is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization. This role involves preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, conducting audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company's growth and profitability.

## Responsibilities - Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. - Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. - Conduct financial audits and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. - Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risks. - Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax filings and corporate governance standards. - Advise on legal and regulatory matters affecting the company.

## Qualifications - Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and corporate governance. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

## Preferred Skills - Experience in leading and mentoring a team of finance professionals. - Experience in developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability. - Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

## Experience The role requires significant experience in financial management, including leading teams, conducting audits, and working with regulatory authorities.
