Role Summary and Impact

You will act as the strategic engine and primary senior contact for a portfolio of key clients. This role demands a visionary leader who can craft breakthrough communications strategies while simultaneously building and nurturing C-level client relationships. You will be responsible for driving tangible business growth for our clients and the agency by ensuring strategic excellence is seamlessly translated into flawless execution and best-in-class service.

  • Act as the Strategic Architect: You will not just answer briefs but reframe them. Your role is to architect the client’s long-term communication roadmap, connecting brand purpose to commercial success and ensuring every investment drives measurable growth.
  • Be the Innovation Catalyst: Serve as the client's window into the future of media. Proactively identify and introduce "media-first" innovations and emerging technologies that give them a decisive competitive edge.
  • Embed as a Business Partner: Move beyond being an agency led to become an indispensable part of the client's senior marketing team. You will lead high-level business reviews and steer conversations toward mutual, long-term growth.
  • Orchestrate Excellence and Empower Your Team: While you own the strategy, you are ultimately responsible for its flawless execution. You will orchestrate the end-to-end delivery across all specialist units and inspire a multi-disciplinary team to produce the best work of their careers.
  • Drive the Commercial Agenda: Oversee the complete commercial health of your client portfolio, including P&L management, contract negotiations, and identifying and converting new revenue opportunities.

Skills and experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in a media agency, with a proven track record in senior-level strategic planning, client leadership, or a similar hybrid role.
  • Exceptional Strategic Acumen: Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into compelling, integrated media and communication strategies that drive growth.
  • Senior Client Management: Proven success in building and maintaining strong relationships with C-level clients, acting as their trusted consultant.
  • Deep Media Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the entire Vietnam media landscape, including traditional channels, digital platforms (search, social, programmatic), content marketing, and e-commerce.
  • Strong Leadership: Experience in leading, managing, and mentoring a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong financial and commercial understanding, with experience managing P&L, negotiating contracts, and identifying business growth opportunities.
  • Excellent Communication: Highly evolved presentation, negotiation, and facilitation skills, with fluency in both English and Vietnamese.
  • Analytical Mindset: A strong ability to analyze data, derive actionable insights, and use them to inform strategy and demonstrate ROI.
