The Department offers both bachelor’s and master’s degrees and is in a new, state-of-the-art building on a beautiful 370-acre suburban campus in Wayne, New Jersey, just twenty miles west of New York City. The graduate program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. The position will report directly to the Department Chair of the Speech, Language Pathology Department.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, online, hybrid, or face-to-face
  • Mentor undergraduate students and supervise graduate students
  • Maintain an active program of research and scholarship in area of expertise
  • Participate in a variety of service activities at the department, college, and university levels.

Required qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field (ABD candidates may apply)
  • Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching
  • Demonstrated excellence in research, or clear potential for it
  • Demonstrated ability to work toward common goals in a collaborative environment.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence and eligibility for New Jersey Licensure

Starting Salary - AFT Range 24 - $76,486.40 - $87,954.55
