Your Impact

The HR Officer provides high-quality, practical HR support to employees and managers across our Greece business. Working within an international engineering and professional services environment, the role supports the full employee lifecycle, ensuring HR processes are delivered accurately, efficiently and in accordance with Greek employment legislation and company policies.

The role works closely with local business leaders and the wider regional HR organisation, including Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Learning & Development and HR Centres of Excellence. It combines strong HR administration with increasingly independent employee and manager support, making it an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to broaden their HR expertise and develop towards a more advisory or HR Business Partner role.

Your responsibilities will include

1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Coordinate onboarding, employment changes, promotions, transfers and offboarding within agreed timelines.
  • Prepare and maintain contracts, amendments, employee letters and statutory HR documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate and complete employee records and HRIS data.
  • Ensure payroll and compensation changes are submitted accurately by payroll deadlines.
  • Track probation periods, contract expiry dates and other employee lifecycle milestones.
  • Produce scheduled and ad hoc headcount, turnover, absence and workforce reports.
  • Maintain HR documentation and records in line with applicable Greek employment and data-protection requirements.
  • Support HR compliance reviews and audits, ensuring required documentation is complete and available.

2. Employee & Manager Support

  • Manage and track employee and manager HR queries through to resolution or escalation.
  • Coordinate documentation, correspondence and case tracking for absence, performance, conduct and employee-relations cases.
  • Monitor completion of required HR processes and documentation by managers.

3. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate offers, contracts, pre-employment requirements and onboarding for new hires.
  • Track completion of induction and probation activities for new employees.
  • Provide workforce and recruitment data to support hiring plans.

4. Performance & Development

  • Coordinate annual performance and development cycles, tracking participation and completion rates.
  • Coordinate local learning activities and maintain participation and completion records.
  • Track identified development needs, internal mobility and succession activity.

5. HR Systems & Continuous Improvement

  • Produce regular HR metrics including headcount, turnover and absence.
  • Track and resolve HR data-quality issues.
  • Document HR processes and maintain employee and manager guidance materials.
  • Identify and implement improvements that reduce administration, processing time or errors.
  • Deliver assigned activities within regional HR projects and change initiatives, including the go-live of our new ERP system and the alignment of HR policies and procedures.

What You'll Bring

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2–5 years' HR experience, including HR administration and generalist/advisory responsibilities.
  • Working knowledge of Greek employment practices and HR administration.
  • Experience managing employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, contractual changes and offboarding.
  • Experience preparing HR documentation and maintaining employee records.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, performance or absence-management cases.
  • Experience using an HRIS or people-management system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Fluent Greek and professional-level English.

Desirable

  • Experience in a multinational, professional services, engineering or other project-based environment.
  • Experience with HR reporting, organisational change and process improvement.
  • Experience working with regional or global HR teams.
  • Experience with enterprise HR systems such as Oracle, Workday or SAP SuccessFactors.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
