The role requires hands-on front-end development experience, strong knowledge of modern web technologies, and the ability to independently complete assigned development activities within established project requirements, schedules, and technical standards.

Your Impact

  • Develop, enhance, test, and maintain responsive web applications and digital solutions.
  • Develop user-facing functionality using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end development technologies.
  • Build responsive and mobile-first interfaces that provide consistent functionality across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
  • Translate UX/UI designs, wireframes, prototypes, and functional requirements into high-quality web experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, developers, project managers, and other technical professionals throughout the application development lifecycle.
  • Develop reusable components and maintain scalable, organized front-end code.
  • Integrate web applications with REST APIs, JSON data sources, and third-party services.
  • Support development and maintenance of websites and applications using WordPress or other Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Apply accessibility requirements and development best practices consistent with WCAG and Section 508 standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects, browser compatibility issues, and user-interface problems.
  • Support application performance optimization, including page speed, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, quality assurance, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Use Git or comparable source-control tools to support collaborative software development and code management.
  • Support application deployments, enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Develop technical documentation related to application functionality, configuration, development, and maintenance.
  • Participate in Agile or similar development processes, including planning sessions, technical discussions, development reviews, and project coordination.
  • Work within established project scopes, schedules, and budgets to meet project milestones and client requirements.
  • Stay current with evolving web-development technologies, accessibility standards, security practices, and development methodologies.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
