Our main industry sectors are: Automotive Aftermarket, Engineering & MRO, Construction, Renewables as well as Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms. Within our company’s headquarters in Limerick, you will find over 70 support staff working across a variety of functions including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Services, Purchasing, Human Resources and Logistics. Your Mission!As Shop Lead, you will supervise a small, dynamic team delivering excellent service to B2B customers. You will ensure your team is organised, motivated, and achieving sales and service targets while maintaining exceptional operational standards across both stores and on-site delivery activities.You will act as the key link between management and Shop staff, supporting performance, coaching team members, and ensuring consistency in service delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & SupervisionSupervise and support a team of three shop staffAllocate daily tasks and ensure efficient coverage across both store locationsProvide on-the-job coaching, guidance, and performance feedbackSupport onboarding and training of new team membersLead by example in delivering excellent customer serviceSales & Customer EngagementSupport and drive sales performance across retail and construction customersOversee telesales activity and ensure follow-up on construction accountsAssist in identifying opportunities to grow customer relationships and salesStep in to handle key customer accounts when requiredOperations & CoordinationEnsure smooth coordination of deliveries to construction sitesOversee stock management, replenishment, and accuracy across both locationsSupport rota planning and ensure adequate store coverageMaintain high standards of merchandising, cleanliness, and organisationPerformance & ReportingMonitor KPIs including sales, margin, and customer service targetsReport performance updates to managementIdentify issues or opportunities and implement improvements where possibleHealth, Safety & ComplianceEnsure all team members follow safety procedures in-store and on the roadPromote a strong culture of security awareness and complianceMaintain safe working practices across all activitiesSkills, Experience & RequirementsPrevious experience in retail, trade, tools, construction, or similar environmentProven ability to lead, motivate, or support a small team (formal supervisory experience an advantage)Strong sales background with a customer-focused mindsetExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organised with the ability to manage competing prioritiesConfident working across multiple locations and adapting quicklyStrong knowledge of construction or trade products is a advantageWhat we OfferJoining Wurth Ireland means joining a growing German Multinational– full of support and opportunity including excellent training and ongoing development to help you be the best you can be!!!!
