The posting

WZC Sint-Eligius (Lochristi) is een thuis voor ouderen die nood hebben aan kwaliteitsvolle zorg. Met een 130-tal medewerkers zetten we ons dagelijks om dit te verwezenlijken voor 145 bewoners. Daarnaast hebben we ook nog een dagverzorgingscentrum voor ouderen met dementie, assistentiewoningen en inleunflats.

Wij maken deel uit van een grote groep Zorg-Saam ZKJ. Dit is een zorgorganisatie met meer dan 2.000 deskundige medewerkers en 600 geëngageerde vrijwilligers. Samen maken ze werk van hun kernopdracht: streven naar een huis waar het goed wonen, leven en werken is. We doen dit door een eigentijdse, kwalitatieve dienstverlening aan te bieden aan 2.450 ouderen.

Om ons team te versterken zijn wij op zoek naar een enthousiaste en gedreven hoofdverpleegkundige. Ben jij een leider met een hart voor ouderenzorg? Weet je mensen te motiveren, de kwaliteit te bewaken en verandering mee vorm te geven? Dan ben jij misschien wel de collega die we zoeken.

  • Je draagt de verantwoordelijkheid over een afdeling en verzekert de dagelijkse werking
  • Je zorgt er voor een optimale werking van de zorg en kwaliteitsvolle dienstverlening aan bewoners en hun familie.
  • Je staat in voor een sterk medewerkersbeleid binnen jouw afdeling
  • Samen met de coördinator wonen en leven geef je vorm aan het woon- en leefbeleid op de afdeling
  • Je stuurt, coacht, motiveert en ondersteunt samen het interdisciplinaire team
  • Je implementeert nieuwe werkwijzen, systemen en technieken en werkt actief mee aan verbeterprojecten.
  • Je hebt nauwe contacten met je collega diensthoofden, met de artsen, bewoner, familie en met de directie
  • Je hebt een groot engagement voor het kwaliteitsvol uitbouwen van het gehele WZC, samen met alle leidinggevenden en alle medewerkers.
  • Je rapporteert aan de Directeur zorg.
  • Je beschikt over een diploma Verpleegkunde (bachelor of graduaat/HBO5)
  • Je beschikt over een bijkomende kaderopleiding, of bent bereid deze binnen de twee jaar te volgen.
  • Ervaring in de ouderenzorg is een meerwaarde
  • Leidinggevende ervaring is een troef
  • Je bent organisatorisch sterk en kan prioriteiten stellen
  • Je beschikt over goede communicatieve vaardigheden
  • Je bent kwaliteitsgericht, ondernemend en denkt mee naar oplossignen
  • Je kan medewerkers enthousiasmeren en begeleiden in veranderingstrajecten
