You will be:

  • Owning solution architecture for assigned workstreams or technical domains throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Producing High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
  • Participating in Architecture Review Boards, design reviews, and governance activities.
  • Supporting engineering teams by ensuring architectural designs are implemented correctly.
  • Managing technical risks, dependencies, and design constraints within your domain.
  • Defining and validating non-functional requirements including availability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborating with third-party vendors, defence contractors, and system integrators.
  • Contributing to the overall programme reference architecture and escalating strategic design decisions where appropriate.

Your profile:

  • 7–12 years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture on large-scale technology programmes.
  • Experience delivering solutions within government, defence, regulated industries, or national security environments.
  • Strong cloud architecture expertise across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes or OpenShift, and cloud networking.
  • Experience with API-first, event-driven, and microservices-based architectures.
  • Strong documentation skills with experience producing HLDs, LLDs, ICDs, and ADRs.
  • Good understanding of Secure-by-Design principles, identity management, and network segmentation.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with Tier-1 defence contractors or Ministry of Defence programmes.
  • Knowledge of MoDAF, NAF, or DODAF.
  • Experience with API management platforms such as Apigee, Azure APIM, AWS API Gateway, or MuleSoft.
  • Exposure to observability platforms including OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or Elastic APM.
  • GCC or KSA government programme experience.
  • Security clearance eligibility (SC or equivalent).
  • AWS, Azure, GCP, or TOGAF certification.
