The Opportunity

We are conducting a search for a Business Manager. Working in close partnership with the Head of School, the Business Manager is the operations leader at the school, a role which requires efficiency, productivity, and strong people skills so children have an enriching educational experience; parents have a consistently satisfying service experience; and staff have a rewarding professional experience.

The Business Manager is responsible for all non-instructional functions including staff services and scheduling; purchasing; regulatory compliance, and back-end admissions and accounting support. This role is critical to the success of the school, its community, and the achievement of our mission by:

  • Driving high levels of staff satisfaction with scheduling, facilities, and overall school operations
  • Ensuring little to no variance between discretionary budgets and actual spending
  • Creating time and capacity for the Head of School to provide overall leadership

The ideal candidate has:

  • A warm and friendly demeanor with exceptional customer service skills
  • A positive, problem-solving attitude and plenty of energy
  • A collaborative, team-player mindset who is comfortable working in an evolving, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong ability to multi-task
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new programs
  • A strong drive to take initiative on new projects and improvements
  • The ability to train and mentor new campus staff on operations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skils
  • Maturity, discretion, and sound judgement

Well-run schools are central to Xplor Education's mission. Just as teachers are responsible for preparing the classroom environment, the Business Manager prepares the campus environment to ensure and outstanding experience for everyone.

For the right candidate, we are prepared to provide:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Generous medical benefits with no waiting period
  • 401(k) retirement benefits including a generous employer match

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
