RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the planning and implementation of gaming and innovation projects in Azerbaijan, including workshops, bootcamps, hackathons, incubation programs, community events, and industry conferences.
  • Assist in tracking project milestones, timelines, budgets, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and key performance indicators.
  • Maintain and update Jira dashboards, project trackers, calendars, participant lists, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, meeting notes, and follow-up on agreed action items.
  • Monitor tasks and follow up with internal teams, partners, vendors, speakers, mentors, participants, and other stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support communication and coordination with government institutions, universities, gaming studios, technology communities, ecosystem partners, and international experts.
  • Assist with event logistics, including venue coordination, registration, catering, equipment, branding materials, speaker arrangements, and participant communication.
  • Support the preparation and implementation of local and international programs for game developers and studios.
  • Help collect, organize, and maintain program data, including applications, attendance records, participant feedback, project results, and KPI progress.
  • Assist in preparing project updates, reports, presentations, summaries, dashboards, and other materials for leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Support vendor coordination, procurement processes, contract documentation, invoices, and payment follow-ups in cooperation with legal and finance teams.
  • Assist with promotional activities by coordinating information, deadlines, and materials with marketing, design, PR, and event teams.
  • Help identify potential gaming studios, startups, experts, mentors, speakers, partners, and community organizations for relevant initiatives.
  • Support effective communication and information flow between local and international teams.
  • Help improve project coordination, documentation, reporting, and operational workflows.
  • Contribute to the growth of Azerbaijan’s gaming and innovation ecosystem through reliable project support and stakeholder engagement.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Project Management, Event Management, Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, project administration, event coordination, business operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate meetings and events, maintain documentation, track deliverables, and follow up on action items.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and structured approach.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Professional proficiency in Azerbaijani and English; knowledge of Russian is an advantage.
  • Interest in gaming, technology, startups, innovation, or ecosystem development.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for project tracking, dashboards, reporting, and documentation.
  • Experience organizing workshops, conferences, hackathons, bootcamps, community events, or similar programs.
  • Experience working with government institutions, universities, startups, technology companies, or international partners.
  • Familiarity with Azerbaijan’s gaming, startup, technology, or innovation ecosystem.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, speakers, mentors, participants, and event logistics.
  • Experience preparing project updates, operational reports, dashboards, presentations, or leadership summaries.
  • Experience supporting procurement, contracting, invoicing, or payment processes.
