About the Role:

At Xtremax, the Business Analyst will support the development and maintenance of business systems. The role involves working with stakeholders and outsourced vendors to gather and manage requirements, develop and maintain system specifications, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure the quality of delivered solutions across development and maintenance projects.

The successful candidate will work on ServiceNow SaaS development projects and maintenance systems involving enhancements and ticket resolutions, including .NET and Java systems.

Responsibilities and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain business systems using Agile and Waterfall approaches.
  • Support both development and maintenance projects, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance processes.
  • Work with outsourced vendors to ensure the quality of delivered work.
  • Conduct user testing and coordinate UAT activities.
  • Draft and review business and technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain user stories, test cases and test scenarios.
  • Support security and risk remediation activities.
  • Utilise requirements management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Support system enhancements and ticket resolution for existing maintenance systems.

Requirements & Qualifications

A. Educational Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst, developing and maintaining systems using Agile and Waterfall approaches.

B. Technical & Professional Competencies

  • Experience in both development and maintenance projects.
  • Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance processes.
  • Experience working with outsourced vendors to ensure the quality of work delivered.
  • Experience conducting user testing.
  • Experience drafting and reviewing business and technical specifications.
  • Experience writing user stories, test cases and test scenarios.
  • Experience supporting security and risk remediation.
  • Proficiency with requirements management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience with ServiceNow SaaS development projects.
  • Experience supporting maintenance systems involving enhancements and ticket resolutions.
  • Experience working with .NET and Java systems.
  • PMP certification or previous experience practicing project management.
