About the Role

YETI is seeking a Manager, FP&A - Sales & Ecommerce to provide strategic financial leadership and business partnership across Ecommerce, Sales, Marketing, and Finance. Reporting to the Director of DTC FP&A, this role will lead forecasting, budgeting, performance analysis, and business reporting efforts while helping leadership understand the financial impact of key commercial and ecommerce trends. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations that drive business results.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Ecommerce, Marketing, and Finance teams to support the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecast process for the ecommerce channel.
  • Analyze monthly financial and operational results, connecting ecommerce drivers, such as traffic, conversion, and inventory availability, revenue, gross margin, and profitability performance.
  • Support the month-end close process through ecommerce P&L variance analysis versus prior periods, forecasts, and budgets, identifying key drivers.
  • Develop and maintain accurate ecommerce revenue forecasts by leveraging historical trends, traffic and conversion assumptions, average unit retail and unit trends, promotional plans, inventory availability, marketing calendars, and market insights to support informed decision-making and alignment with financial targets.
  • Model promotional scenarios to assess incremental revenue, margin rate impact, cannibalization risk, inventory implications, and overall profitability, supporting data-driven decisions on promotional strategy and investment.
  • Conduct analyses to gain deeper insights into ecommerce performance, demand trends, customer behavior, channel mix, and profitability drivers, helping management scale, manage, and grow the business predictably and profitably.
  • Partner with ecommerce and executive leadership to establish, monitor, and report key performance indicators, including traffic, conversion, average unit retail, revenue, promotions, returns, and marketing efficiency.
  • Plan, report, and analyze ecommerce operating expenses and investments, including digital marketing spend, promotional funding, platform expenses, and other channel-specific investments.
  • Prepare Monthly Business Review, Board of Directors, and other management presentations that clearly communicate ecommerce performance, key business drivers, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Lead projects and initiatives to improve ecommerce forecasting, reporting, dashboarding, and analytical processes, with a focus on increasing accuracy, efficiency, and business visibility.
  • Own ad hoc analyses and presentations related to ecommerce performance, promotional effectiveness, marketing efficiency, customer demand trends, and profitability improvement opportunities.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field preferred.
  • At least 8 years of finance experience, preferably in FP&A, Sales Finance, Ecommerce Finance, Retail Finance, or a related analytical finance role.
  • Experience supporting ecommerce, retail, consumer products, or fast-growing consumer brands preferred.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce performance drivers, including traffic, conversion, AOV/AUR, promotions, returns, and digital marketing efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to build revenue forecasts, financial models, promotional scenarios, and profitability analyses that translate business drivers into financial outcomes.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SAP, Tableau, Power BI, or other reporting and visualization tool experience preferred.
  • Outstanding analytical skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret large data sets into actionable insights.
  • Strong business partnership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence decision making.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to synthesize large sets of data into actionable insights/recommendations

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
