Yext is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to join our Global Procurement Team. Reporting to the Director of Procurement, you will be our Source-to-Contract (S2C) Lead, proactively engaging stakeholders to build a sourcing roadmap, executing against it, and supporting the downstream Requisition-to-Pay (R2P) process. You will have the chance to shape our growing Procurement function, helping us evolve into a more strategic business partner.
What You'll Do
Source-to-Contract Lead
- Partner with key business stakeholders including finance, legal, tech, operations, infrastructure and product teams to understand their current and future strategic plans
- Convert strategic business plans into sourcing strategies to maximize value
- Create and execute on a holistic roadmap for supplier engagement, including RFPs and new supplier engagement (where applicable), renewals and renegotiations
- Lead commercial negotiations, with a strategic approach to delivering best outcomes including pricing, risk mitigation and flexibility
- Own the S2C process and support the downstream R2P process, identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency
Stakeholder Management
- Act as subject matter expert for procurement and associated processes, guiding business users through the full procurement lifecycle
- Act as first-line support for internal procurement inquiries and escalate as needed
- Present strategies to leadership to gain buy-in
Reporting & Data Analysis
- Analyze spend and contract data to identify savings, consolidation opportunities, and supplier risk
- Leverage CLM analytics tools to build and maintain contracts database
What You Have
- 6-8+ years of stakeholder-facing strategic procurement, commercial contracting, or supplier negotiation experience
- Experience working in a lean, fast-moving company where you are responsible for most aspects of the S2C and R2P processes, including negotiating SaaS deals
- Builds trust and influence with all stakeholders, including finance, legal, operations, product, and tech
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Demonstrated ability to understand business requirements and convert them into a strong sourcing and negotiation plan
- Strong analytical skills (Excel), spend analytics and ability to leverage AI tools to simplify work
- Proficiency in Source-to-Pay platforms, CLM and other procurement-related tools (such as Coupa, Ironclad, NetSuite, Zip)
