Join Yokogawa and make a difference

At Yokogawa, we believe that successful projects start with strong collaboration, clear planning and a commitment to delivering on our promises to customers.

As a Project Engineer – PCI, you will play an important role in bringing our Process Control Instrumentation projects to life. From the moment an order is received until final delivery and project closure, you will help ensure that every activity is carefully planned, coordinated and delivered as agreed.

You will work closely with the Project Manager, engineering teams, procurement, suppliers and customers, connecting people and activities to keep projects moving forward.

What will you do?

A key part of your role will be project planning and schedule management. You will develop, maintain and monitor project schedules, coordinate milestones and deliverables, identify potential delays and help the project team stay on track.

Alongside this, you will coordinate technical activities related to instrumentation packages, review customer specifications, follow up on engineering documentation and support procurement and supplier activities. You will also maintain close contact with customers, EPC contractors and vendors, ensuring that questions are addressed and expectations are managed throughout the project.

From technical reviews and vendor documentation to inspections, FAT activities and final project dossiers, you will help bring all the different pieces together.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned, developing better ways of working and exchanging knowledge with colleagues.

What do we expect from you?

You are someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex projects and making sure things happen as planned. You combine a practical engineering mindset with a strong interest in project management, particularly project planning and scheduling.

You bring:

  • A degree in Industrial Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Fluent in English (technical)
  • 3-5 years of experience in industrial automation, instrumentation or process industry projects.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting project management or coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities.
  • Knowledge of industrial instrumentation (instruments and analytical) and an understanding of project execution processes.
  • Experience or a strong interest in project scheduling, progress monitoring and risk identification.
  • Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • A proactive, structured and collaborative approach, taking ownership of your responsibilities.

How you will make an impact

You will help Yokogawa deliver projects that meet customer expectations in terms of schedule, quality and cost. By combining technical understanding, planning expertise and effective collaboration, you will contribute to reliable project execution and lasting customer relationships.

Together, we make a difference.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
