Job Description

Yong Seng Heng Pte Ltd is a food manufacturing and distribution company in Singapore. We are looking for a responsible and reliable Driver to join our operations team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver food products and goods to customers, retail outlets and other designated locations.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Check delivery orders and ensure accurate quantities before dispatch.
  • Ensure timely deliveries according to assigned routes and schedules.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene of the delivery vehicle.
  • Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
  • Follow company procedures for food safety, handling and transportation.
  • Assist with warehouse duties, packing and stock movement when required.
  • Perform other delivery and operational duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence, appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
  • Able to carry out loading and unloading duties safely.
  • Responsible, punctual and able to work independently.
  • Able to follow delivery schedules and instructions.
  • Good understanding of Singapore roads and delivery routes is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in food delivery, logistics or distribution is an advantage.
  • Willing to assist with general operational duties when required.

Working Arrangements

  • Full-time position.
  • Working hours and rest days will be communicated according to the company's operational schedule.
  • Work involves deliveries to various locations across Singapore.
