About the Role

We are seeking a Director to lead the strategic development, business growth and operational performance of our Smöoy business in Singapore.

The Director will oversee business planning, financial performance, marketing and commercial partnerships, working closely with the operations and management teams to achieve sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s business strategy, annual plans and growth objectives.
  • Oversee business performance, including revenue, operating costs, profitability and customer experience.
  • Establish budgets, performance targets and action plans, and monitor results against these objectives.
  • Lead business development initiatives, including commercial partnerships, new sales channels and expansion opportunities.
  • Oversee brand positioning, marketing strategy and promotional activities.
  • Work with operations teams to improve outlet performance, service standards and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and develop teams, set clear responsibilities and review performance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with business partners, landlords, suppliers and other key stakeholders.
  • Review business risks and oversee appropriate internal controls and compliance processes.
  • Present business results, strategic recommendations and investment proposals to shareholders.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated senior management or leadership experience with responsibility for business strategy and commercial results.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting and business performance analysis.
  • Experience leading teams and managing operational improvements.
  • Proven ability to develop partnerships and identify business growth opportunities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Relevant qualification in business, management, marketing or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in food and beverage, retail, consumer brands or businesses operating multiple outlets would be an advantage.
