This hybrid engineering role combines responsibility for electrical system design and integration of X-ray imaging platforms for the semiconductor industry with hands-on support of engineering development. The position serves as the technical owner for electrical integration, power distribution, and regulatory compliance activities while also supporting systems engineering and ensuring engineering tools are operating safely, reliably, and at peak productivity. The role requires strong electrical engineering expertise, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and experience working with complex electro-mechanical, optical, and X-ray systems. The successful candidate will contribute across the full product lifecycle, including design, integration, testing, certification, laboratory support, maintenance, and development activities.

Sound Interesting?

Here’s what you’ll do:

Primary Function (50%): Electrical Engineering

  • Lead electrical integration and power distribution design for X-ray imaging systems (primarily for semiconductor customers).
  • Design, develop, maintain, and document electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, cable assemblies, and power distribution architectures.
  • Develop and prototype cable harnesses, electro-mechanical assemblies, low- and line-voltage electrical systems and printed circuit boards.
  • Support subsystem and system integration activities in collaboration with software, mechanical, optical, and systems engineering teams.
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical and electro-mechanical issues during development, manufacturing, and field support activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation that supports manufacturing, service, installation and engineering requirements.
  • Serve as the technical lead for product regulatory compliance activities, including UL, CE, SEMI, and regional / country-specific requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement of existing electrical designs, documentation, and integration processes.

Secondary Function (50%): System Support

  • Maintain engineering and prototype systems, ensuring safety, availability and productivity.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and performance verification of development systems.
  • Support integration, alignment, testing, and qualification of complex opto-mechanical, robotic, and X-ray subsystems.
  • Collaborate with engineering and service teams to develop, execute, and refine maintenance and test procedures, collecting and analyzing data and documenting results
  • Conduct incoming inspection, verification, and certification of critical components and assemblies.
  • Maintain laboratories, tools, consumables, fixtures, and support equipment.
  • Promote and maintain safe laboratory practices and support compliance with established engineering laboratory standards.
  • Assist technical support and service teams with customer requirements and field issues.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
