The posting

Zenas is a clinical-stage global biopharmaceutical company committed to becoming a leader in the development and commercialization of transformative therapies for patients with autoimmune diseases. Our core business strategy combines our experienced leadership team with a disciplined product candidate acquisition approach to identify, acquire and develop product candidates globally that we believe can provide superior clinical benefits to patients living with autoimmune diseases. Zenas is advancing two late-stage, potential franchise molecules, obexelimab and orelabrutinib. Obexelimab, Zenas’ lead product candidate, is a bifunctional monoclonal antibody designed to bind both CD19 and FcγRIIb, which are broadly present across B cell lineage, to inhibit the activity of cells that are implicated in many autoimmune diseases without depleting them. We believe that obexelimab’s unique mechanism of action and self-administered, subcutaneous injection regimen may broadly and effectively address the pathogenic role of B cell lineage in chronic autoimmune disease. Orelabrutinib is a potentially best-in-class, highly selective CNS-penetrant, oral, small molecule Bruton’s Tyrosine Kinase (BTK) inhibitor with the potential to address compartmentalized inflammation and disease progression in Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Zenas’ earlier stage programs include ZB021, a clinical-stage, potentially best-in-class, oral, IL-17AA/AF inhibitor; ZB022, a preclinical, potentially best-in-class, oral, brain-penetrant, TYK2 inhibitor; and ZB014, a preclinical half-life extended anti-CD-19 and FcγRIIb monoclonal antibody.

We are seeking top talent who share our commitment to patients and have a track record of success in acquiring, developing and commercializing products across the globe. Our colleagues have an opportunity to engage in a fast-paced learning environment and experience individual and organizational success as we work towards becoming a global immunology and autoimmune disease leader, while living our values of Transparency, Relationships, Urgency, Excellence and Innovation – TRUE Innovation!

Position Summary:

Zenas is seeking an accomplished commercial insights and analytics leader to serve as Sr. Director, Commercial Analytics & Decision Intelligence. This leader will build and use the data and analytics backbone that supports Zenas' transition from late-stage development to potential launch and ongoing brand management.

The Sr. Director will be accountable for the requirements to use commercial data, the accuracy and timeliness of brand performance reporting, the design of algorithms that identify and prioritize patient opportunity, and the measurement of marketing and promotional impact across channels. The role will ensure Zenas' commercial leadership has trusted data, clear performance visibility, and rigorous, quantitative answers to questions of where opportunity exists and what is working.

This leader will bring both technical depth and commercial fluency. They will be expected to move beyond dashboards and static reports to deliver validated models, clear measurement frameworks, and analytics that hold up to scrutiny from commercial, finance, and executive stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on analytics leader who has built or scaled commercial data infrastructure, patient-level or HCP-level models, and marketing measurement capabilities, and who now wants to bring that experience to a smaller, high-growth company where their impact will be highly visible and foundational.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Strategy & Management

  • Define and own the commercial data strategy, collaborating with IT on data architecture, governance, and quality standards and with Sales Operations on master data management.
  • Ensure a scalable, well-governed commercial data infrastructure is built to support analytics that will drive launch and future in-line performance management.
  • Collaborate with IT to establish data quality controls, validation processes, and documentation so that all downstream reporting and analytics rest on a trusted, auditable foundation.
  • Partner with IT, Sales Operations, Market Access, and external data vendors to evaluate, contract, and integrate new data sources as the portfolio grows.
  • Ensure data privacy and compliance are met across all commercial data assets.

Product Performance Reporting

  • Own the design, build, and maintenance of brand performance reporting, including KPI architecture, dashboard strategy, and standardized reporting from a marketing analytics lens.
  • Deliver timely, accurate visibility into product performance, market share, duration, and other core brand metrics for commercial and executive leadership.
  • Translate performance data into clear implications and recommended actions, not just metrics, for brand and executive stakeholders.
  • Partner with Sales Operations to establish reporting standards and a single source of truth so that commercial, finance, and leadership are aligned on how performance is defined and measured.
  • Continuously refine reporting tools and dashboards based on evolving business questions and stakeholder needs.

Patient Opportunity Algorithms

  • Design, build, and validate algorithms and models that identify and prioritize patient and prescriber opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales Operations and Marketing to operationalize opportunity algorithms into territory call suggestions.
  • Continuously test, validate, and refine models against real-world outcomes to ensure targeting logic remains accurate as new data becomes available.
  • Introduce modern analytics and AI-enabled approaches to opportunity identification where appropriate, with strong attention to model transparency, governance, and business relevance.

Marketing Impact Measurement

  • Design and lead the measurement framework for marketing and promotional effectiveness across channels, including field and non-personal promotion.
  • Build attribution, mix, and response models that quantify the impact of marketing investment on prescribing behavior and brand performance.
  • Partner with Marketing to test, measure, and optimize campaigns, engagement, and channel investment based on rigorous, data-driven evidence.
  • Deliver clear, decision-ready readouts on marketing ROI to commercial and executive leadership.
  • Establish a disciplined test-and-learn approach that allows Zenas to continuously refine its marketing mix as the commercial organization scales.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or engineering discipline; advanced degree preferred
  • 12+ years of experience in commercial analytics or decision science
  • 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical specific commercial analytics roles
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry data sources and their application toward analytic workflows
  • Hands-on experience with predictive analytics algorithms and models
  • Clear understanding of metrics and analyses to describe product/market performance, and associated reporting tools (PowerBI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot)
  • Experience modeling and measuring marketing channel impact to drive investment decisions
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to contribute to high-performing teams
  • Well-versed in communicating verbally and in writing insights generated from analytic processes

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
