Role Summary

The Business Analyst analyzes the organization and designs its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology.

The role evaluates the current state, identifies customer requirements, and defines the future state and business solutions.

The Business Analyst researches, gathers, and synthesizes information to support decision-making, and acts as a subject matter expert who collaborates with, and helps manage, teams to perform effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Analysis and Solution Design

• Analyze the organization and design its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology.

• Evaluate the current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and business solutions.

• Research, gather, and synthesize information to support decision-making.

• Analyze trends and patterns to recommend innovative approaches that improve organizational processes.

Documentation

• Develop detailed documentation that clearly communicates business requirements and process improvements.

Stakeholder and Team Collaboration

• Act as a subject matter expert, collaborating with and managing the team to perform effectively.

• Take responsibility for team decisions and contribute to key decisions.

• Engage with multiple teams and provide solutions to problems within the immediate team and across teams.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and technology solutions.

Capability Building

• Support less experienced colleagues by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.

• Contribute to the evaluation and selection of tools and methodologies that enhance business analysis effectiveness.

Required Skills and Experience

• Advanced proficiency in Requirements Analysis.

• Strong ability to research, gather, and synthesize information to support decision-making.

• Ability to produce clear, detailed business requirements and process documentation.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and team collaboration skills.

• Ability to lead and guide team members and take ownership of team decisions.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Business Process Analysis Tools.

• Advanced proficiency in Business Process Design.

• Advanced proficiency in Business Model Strategy.

• Experience analyzing trends and patterns to recommend process innovation.
