Job Description

  • Develop browser-based interfaces, REST APIs and database changes.
  • Implement authentication, authorisation, validation, audit logging and automated tests.
  • Integrate applications with data ingestion and export processes.
  • Support CI/CD, defect resolution, deployment and technical handover.

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

  • React, JavaScript & Typescript , HTML5 and CSS3, including maintaining framework-free applications.
  • Node.js, Express and REST API development.
  • Working knowledge of Azure SQL or SQL Server, including SQL queries, transactions and basic query optimisation.
  • Azure App Service, Microsoft Entra ID integration and managed identities.
  • Git, CI/CD, automated testing and secure coding practices.
  • Experience enhancing existing applications for production use.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, Key Vault and Application Insights.
  • Azure Storage, Data Factory and data reconciliation.
  • Insurance or business continuity application experience.
