About the team
Zillow Group is on a mission to make buying, selling, and renting a home as seamless, burden-free, and delightful an experience as possible for all home seekers. Within that broader ambition, Rentals represents one of our most dynamic opportunities and has grown into Zillow's fastest-growing business line. As macro trends and affordability pressures transform how people find homes, Zillow has streamlined the way renters search, tour, apply, and pay rent. Simultaneously, we provide our valued partners with a complete set of digital tools to help them market their properties, identify prospective tenants, sign a lease, and collect payments - enabling them to operate more successfully in a rapidly changing landscape.
A core part of building that experience is our frontline sales teams who support our rental business partners through the process and ensure we have a comprehensive inventory of rental listings for home seekers.
You will be joining a forward-thinking group of Marketers dedicated to crafting the next wave of innovative sales enablement resources. As part of the Frontline Marketing team, you will work cross-functionally to deliver dynamic content, integrated communications, training materials, and impactful sales aids to empower our frontline teams for success.
About the role
The Frontline Marketing Manager is a strategic driver of revenue-generating business initiatives. In this role, you will take ownership of developing and launching high-quality, impactful sales toolkits for our frontline sales teams, built on strong, value-based messaging. You will turn partner results and data into compelling stories, then shape how those stories are put to work: in how sellers are prepared, in how they talk about our value, and in the materials they put in front of partners.
This role is critical to driving B2B revenue through our team of sellers. You will make sure they show up in-market as best-in-class: prepared, credible, and clear on our value in every conversation. The work you put behind them is what turns a first conversation into a closed deal.
Core Responsibilities
- Create & Own: Take responsibility for the end-to-end creation of high-caliber enablement deliverables (including sales playbooks, presentation decks, sales emails and more), from research and copywriting through production and launch. Craft data-backed, value-based messaging and narratives that give the Sales team the "right message at the right time" for every partner interaction, and hold every deliverable to a high creative and strategic bar. Bring fresh, out-of-the-box ideas for sales aids, programs, and campaigns, and turn the best ones into plays that sellers use.
- Tell Partner Stories: Find, shape, and tell the partner stories that make our value real for sellers and prospects. Use interviews, research, and data to build convincing success stories, proof points, and results in a mix of formats, ready for sellers to use in the field or to go direct to market. Apply shared narratives across multiple initiatives, drawing connections between stories so every launch reinforces one value story.
- Strategize & Activate: Lead the strategy and execution of activating the sales floor on high-value, cross-functional initiatives. Partner with Sales Leadership, Operations, Product, Marketing, and others to drive sales effectiveness strategies and programs that move revenue. Build trusted relationships with senior Sales leaders and secure their buy-in so your work is adopted and sold through.
- Orchestrate & Optimize: Build comprehensive sales Go-To-Market (GTM) plans and run them as programs with clear goals, so that what you create is adopted by sellers, and act as the cross-functional liaison between the frontline and broader marketing teams. You will be responsible for designing strategic sales communications, as well as bringing analytical rigor to our measurement and intelligence programs to evaluate the impact of those rollouts.
- Influence through Insights: Conduct research to understand what resonates with B2B buyers in the market and to inform sales messaging and toolkits. Drive the aggregation of Sales team feedback to identify knowledge and skills gaps, spot where messaging and content fall short, and inspire changes.
