Our Mission

You call. You wait. You call again. In every other part of your life, you book in seconds. In healthcare, you’re blocked.

We’re here to give power to the patient.

For nearly 20 years, we’ve built the leading healthcare marketplace - helping tens of millions of people find and book the care they need. Now, we’re going further: building our infrastructure beyond Zocdoc’s marketplace to power access to care wherever patients search, from provider websites and insurance directories to search engines, AI platforms, and more.

Healthcare still lacks something every other major consumer industry takes for granted: a seamless way to go from seeking to getting. We don’t want to own the front door to care; there isn't one. We want to make sure all of those doors open when patients are knocking.

Fixing healthcare starts with fixing access to it. And we're still just getting started.

About the Role:

This role will shape the backbone of Zocdoc’s provider data ecosystem - building high-performing teams, scalable processes, and cross-functional systems that enable rapid marketplace expansion and world-class data quality. As a manager within Provider Data Operations, you will own and scale a growing function responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, completeness, and compliance of provider data across the platform. You will drive operational strategy, lead process and automation initiatives, and partner closely with global stakeholders to deliver efficiency and reliability at scale.

A Day in the Life of a Provider Data Operations Manager:

  • Own Team Performance & Operational Outcomes Lead a team of 20–30 (including Researchers, Associates, Senior Associates, and Team Leads) and own end-to-end performance across productivity, quality, SLA adherence, and operational reliability. Ensure consistent delivery through strong oversight, prioritization, and removal of execution roadblocks.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Initiatives & Drive Impact Own medium-sized projects and cross-functional initiatives, driving timelines, stakeholder alignment, and measurable outcomes. Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and other stakeholders to resolve systemic issues and improve workflows.
  • Plan Capacity & Enable Scalable Execution Manage capacity planning and prioritization across monthly and quarterly horizons. Anticipate future skill and resource needs, and align team structure to evolving business demands and strategic goals.
  • Develop Leaders & Build High-Performing Teams Coach and develop both individual contributors and Team Leads through structured feedback, performance reviews, and targeted development plans. Build a strong talent pipeline through hiring, retention, and creating a high-engagement, recognition-driven environment.
  • Drive Data-Informed Decisions & Continuous Improvement Leverage data and performance insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Translate insights into actionable improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and team effectiveness.
  • Enable AI & Automation at Scale Identify and drive high-impact opportunities to leverage AI and automation across workflows. Partner with AI, Product, and Engineering teams to design, test, and scale solutions that reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and increase operational throughput. Guide the team in adopting AI-driven tools and transitioning from manual processes to scalable systems.
  • Align Team with Strategy & Business Priorities Translate high-level objectives into clear, actionable plans for the team. Reinforce priorities, manage trade-offs, and maintain alignment during periods of change or ambiguity. Represent team needs effectively in leadership and cross-functional forums.
  • Manage Stakeholder Relationships & Navigate Complexity Build strong relationships across functions, balance competing priorities, and align stakeholders around shared goals. Navigate ambiguity, make sound decisions with incomplete information, and ensure the team remains focused on outcomes.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a reputed institution with a strong academic record.
  • 9-12 years of experience in data/business operations, analytics, or research, with at least 2–3 years managing and coaching people (10+ direct or indirect reports) in operations or customer service teams.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
