Zocks is an AI platform transforming how financial advisors work. Starting in the US financial services market, we're building technology that supports advisors across their entire workflow - from sales and meeting preparation to note-taking, follow-ups, scheduling, email, document intelligence, reporting, and integrations with the systems they use every day.
Our goal is to take repetitive, manual work out of the advisor-client relationship and turn conversations, documents, and data into actions automatically. As our platform expands across more workflows, customers, and use cases, we're solving increasingly complex challenges around AI, real-time systems, data, security, integrations, and scale.
Zocks is headquartered in San Francisco, while our entire R&D organization - Engineering, Product, Design, Data, and Infrastructure - is based in Budapest. This means our Budapest teams don't just execute on a product built elsewhere: they're directly responsible for shaping the product, technology, and how we build them as we grow.
Location: Budapest, XI., Science Park (On-site Monday to Thursday, Remote on Fridays)
About the role
We’re looking for an AI Product Operations Intern to work closely with our CTO and Product team on a very practical challenge: how can we use AI to make the way we build products faster and smarter?
This isn’t a traditional Product Management internship. You won’t spend your days taking meeting notes or updating Jira tickets manually. Instead, you’ll look at how our PM team works today, identify repetitive or inefficient steps, and experiment with ways to automate or improve them using AI.
You’ll get direct exposure to how an AI product company operates, work closely with experienced Product Managers and our CTO, and turn ideas into workflows and tools that people actually use.
What you’ll do
- Work directly with our CTO and Product Managers to understand how our product development processes work today
- Identify repetitive, manual, or time-consuming tasks that could be improved with AI
- Build and experiment with AI-powered workflows, automations, and internal tools
- Connect information and workflows across the tools our Product team already uses
- Prototype solutions quickly and test them with the team
- Evaluate whether your automations actually save time or improve the quality of our work
- Document successful workflows so they can be adopted across the Product organization
- Keep exploring new AI tools and approaches that could make our internal processes better
Example projects
Depending on what we discover together, you might work on things like:
- Turning different sources of product feedback into structured insights
- Helping PMs summarize and categorize customer needs at scale
- Automating parts of product research and competitive analysis
- Connecting information scattered across different internal tools
- Creating AI workflows around product documentation and specifications
- Helping turn raw information into structured inputs for product decisions
- Building lightweight internal AI tools for repetitive PM tasks
The important part: we already know there are plenty of opportunities, but we don’t expect you to simply execute a predefined list. Part of the job is figuring out what is actually worth automating.
What we’re looking for
You don’t need years of professional experience. We’re looking for someone who is curious about both technology and how businesses actually work.
You might be studying Computer Science, Business Informatics, AI, Data, or a similar field - but your mindset matters more than the exact name of your degree.
You’ll probably enjoy this role if you:
- Regularly experiment with AI tools beyond simply asking ChatGPT/Claude questions
- Like understanding how a process works before trying to improve it
- Can break an ambiguous problem into logical steps
- Enjoy building quick prototypes and iterating on them
- Are comfortable figuring things out without detailed instructions
- Can talk to non-technical people, understand their problems, and translate those into practical solutions
- Are genuinely curious about what AI can already automate today — and where it still fails
Requirements
- Active full-time university student status in Hungary
- Ability to work 35–40 hours per week
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Hands-on experience experimenting with AI tools, automation, coding, or low-code/no-code solutions
- Confident Hungarian and good written and spoken English
- Availability to work from our Budapest office Monday–Thursday
