About the Role:
As a Facilities Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, stable, and reliable operation of facility equipment and utility systems within our manufacturing plant. This hands-on position supports commissioning, plant ramp-up, and ongoing operations while driving equipment reliability, preventive maintenance excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize operational performance and production uptime
Role Responsibilities:
- Execute daily maintenance activities for facility and utility systems to ensure smooth operations.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) standards and guidelines for facility and utility equipment.
- Monitor equipment condition, identify potential issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures and drive reliability improvements.
- Manage and execute projects to enhance equipment performance, safety, and energy efficiency.
- Monitor and optimize factory energy consumption.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, trial runs, and handover activities.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and procedures.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to support operational requirements and maintain equipment stability.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to track maintenance performance and drive continuous improvement.
What you'll need:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with facility and utility systems, particularly high-pressure nitrogen systems, cooling water systems, chillers, and wastewater treatment systems.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and high-pressure systems.
- Hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good English communication skills are preferred.
- Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively on the shop floor
