Role
We are looking for a Director Product Management, ZIA to join our team. This is a hybrid role, based in San Jose, CA, reporting to the VP, Product Management in the Product Management department. At Zscaler, we are on a mission to make the internet safe for every user, anywhere. In this role, you will lead endpoint security, sandboxing, and anti-malware initiatives, shaping the strategic direction of our cybersecurity products and making a lasting impact on our global customer base.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Define and drive Zscaler Internet Access(ZIA) offering including TLS inspection, Post-Quantum Cryptography, PKI, Cryptography standards, and key Secure Web Gateway and Proxy product roadmap in alignment with company objectives and customer needs
- Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to bring products to market and ensure their success
- Engage directly with customers to understand their challenges, gather product feedback, and identify new opportunities
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life, ensuring that products meet and exceed customer expectations
- Act as the internal subject matter expert, providing training and support to sales and cross-functional teams

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain
- Proven track record in product management with a strong focus on cybersecurity solutions
- Technical proficiency with Proxy Architecture, SWG, HTTP/S, and SSL/TLS inspection at scale
- Deep understanding of federal infrastructure requirements such as IPv6 connectivity, PKI, and Cryptography
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Proven ability to leverage AI technologies and workflows to drive measurable operational efficiency
- Experience leveraging AI/ML models to enhance automated malware detection, threat intelligence, or real-time security analytics
- Direct familiarity with cloud-based security solutions, specifically Zscaler's architecture and offerings
- Master’s degree or MBA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
Base Pay Range
$199,500—$285,000 USD
