The Production Planner proactively identifies and resolves material shortages, capacity constraints, and other issues that could disrupt the schedule. Success requires strong problem-solving, disciplined follow-through, and clear cross-functional communication across production, supply chain, purchasing, customer care, shipping, and other business partners.

  • Partner closely with production supervisors and shop teams to confirm priorities, sequence work, address execution barriers, and support timely completion of orders.
  • Proactively review material availability, identify shortages before they affect production, and coordinate with purchasing, supply chain, inventory control, and production to resolve constraints.
  • Reschedule or reprioritize work as conditions change, balancing customer commitments, operational capacity, and material availability.
  • Provide clear, timely communication regarding schedule status, order priorities, shortages, recovery plans, and delivery risks to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with customer care, sales, shipping, and warehouse teams to support accurate delivery commitments and on-time order fulfillment.
  • Analyze planning and execution issues, determine root causes, and drive practical cross-functional solutions.
  • Maintain accurate planning data and production order status in the enterprise system.
  • Support inventory planning, production performance, and on-time delivery objectives.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen scheduling discipline, material flow, production execution, and customer service.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
