Finance Supervisor / Senior Finance Supervisor

Department: Group Finance & Internal Audit Location: Singapore Monthly Salary: From S$3,500, depending on experience and qualifications Employment Type: Full-time Experience Required: 3–5+ years Travel Requirement: Regular trips to the manufacturing facility in Indonesia to conduct on-site internal audits

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Treasury

  • Handle daily accounting activities for multiple group companies, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Manage prepayments, accruals, fixed asset depreciation, and intercompany balances.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing, review financial data, and follow up on discrepancies and exceptions.
  • Verify payment vouchers, supplier invoices, and supporting documents.
  • Maintain multi-currency bank transaction and payment records, as well as cash schedules.
  • Assist with foreign exchange accounting and cash flow management.

Cost & Inventory Accounting

  • Assist with allocating procurement, freight, and other related costs.
  • Reconcile inventory records, cost of goods sold (COGS), and gross profit figures.
  • Assist with fixed asset, construction-in-progress (CIP), and manufacturing cost accounting.
  • Check the accuracy and completeness of inventory and costing data.

Internal Audit & Overseas Factory Financial Review

  • Conduct regular on-site financial internal audits at the manufacturing facility in Indonesia.
  • Review factory accounting records, vouchers, payment documents, and supporting records.
  • Check whether procurement, payments, expense claims, and cash usage comply with company policies.
  • Verify raw material and finished goods inventory, including physical stock counts and reconciliations.
  • Review production costs, raw material consumption, production losses, and cost allocation methods.
  • Examine fixed asset registers, construction-in-progress, and equipment procurement records.
  • Assess internal controls and identify financial risks and unusual transactions.
  • Prepare internal audit reports, recommend improvements, and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Work with local finance and factory teams to strengthen financial controls.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with knowledge of full-set accounts.
  • Familiarity with Singapore accounting practices, AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
  • Proficient in Excel, including PivotTables, SUMIFS, XLOOKUP, or VLOOKUP.
  • Able to reconcile and analyse financial data; familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems.
  • Good written and spoken English; Bahasa Indonesia proficiency is preferred.
  • Willing and able to travel regularly to Indonesia for factory internal audits.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, trustworthy, and able to solve problems independently.
  • Experience in manufacturing, trading, group accounting, internal audit, costing, or inventory control is preferred.
